Noien watched as Kara tossed the knife back and forth with ease. "He did once on a long trip when no blood was available, but he says he never wants to do it again." She shrugged and started cutting the meat. "With out drinking real blood, Higure does get quite weak. He is like a vampire, but not really... I can't remember what he actually is."

Noien chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, I think of Higure as something like a father. I'm sure he feel's the same." She said cutting pieces of the meat hunk. "And you're right, he is a demon."

Noien nodded then paused. The flavor of meat was hard to describe really. "Um, well....I don't really know. It depends on the meat and how you cook it really. I think the smell of meat is pretty close to the flavor. You know what I mean?" She said bringing over the cut meat to the stew.
