The two large doors near the entrance to the first district burst open and the duo stepped through, the doors closing behind them. When the redhead looked around, the Electro-Mag Rod resting on his shoulder, he noticed that the First District was currently empty. Normally, one would expect to find people in this district, but there wasn't a single person to be found.
After taking a few steps further into the district, Reno glanced around again and shrugged, turning around to face Rude. "Well this is peculiar. Normally there're people here. I guess they're in hiding right now. I wonder where exactly our enemies are hiding though." Turning around, he glanced over at the open restaurant and shrugged again. "Well, I suppose that restaurant over there is a good place to start."
Chuckling lightly, he walked over to the nearest table and tapped his rod on it a few times. When the tables burst into pieces, he jumped backwards and clutched his weapon tight in his right hand. "Oh-ho! Nobodies and Heartless, this should be interesting!" Grinning, he began hopping up and down in place as they began slithering around the area around him. "Three Creepers, three Shadows. Perfect warm-up don'tcha think buddy?"
Reno quickly flipped backwards out of the way of two of the Creepers' attacks and smirked as he lunged forward and smacked them both in quick succession with his rod. The attack didn't finish them off, but it did stun them, which would make things a bit easier. So, while they were unable to help their buddies, Reno turned and quickly cast a Thunder spell to strike down a nearby Shadow. When it struggled to move, Reno moved in for the kill and smirked. "One down, five more enemies here to go. Then we can look around for the others, right Rude?" The Turk was highly enjoying himself and he was eager to kick some more butt.

The first district was quiet. Rude looked around. It was like a ghost town. He turned his head when Reno mentioned the open restaurant. He nodded and followed his friend into the restaurant. "Too quiet here..." Reno tapped the nearest table and it burst into pieces. Rude put up his guard and shrugged his shoulders lightly. He pulled on his gloves then tightened his hands into fists. He grinned slightly. "We could use the warm up."
Rude watched his friend stun two creepers. His friend finished off a shadow. Rude moved and punched one of the stunned creepers and it vanished. "Another down." He chuckled and nodded at Reno. They would find them all. "They can't hide." The other creeper broke out of the stun and kicked out at Rude. Rude blocked it and punched out at the creeper. It dodged. They both exchanged blows before Rude sent the creeper crashing into a table. The creeper vanished back into darkness.

Reno grinned when Rude finished off the two Crepeers he stunned earlier. Glancing at the other three enemies, Reno chuckled. "I'll show you how it's done partner. This is how you kill some baddies!" Finding himself surrounded by the final Creeper and the two Shadows, Reno grinned. Lunging forward, he struck the first of the Shadows and electrocuted it with his weapon.
When the Shadow burst into darkness, Reno turned to the other two enemies and blocked an attack from the Creeper before casting Thunder on the other Shadow, destroying it in the process. With a rather smug smirk, Reno threw the Creeper back and lurched forward, slamming his Electro-Mag Rod into its face. Rather than dying, the dang thing was simply knocked through the ceiling, its head getting stuck there. With a sigh, Reno watched the poor thing struggle a moment to get free.
When it became evident that the Creeper was truly stuck, Reno just walked over, tapped it with his weapon, and watched as the electricity destroyed the pitiful creature. "Okay, so that was kind of sad. Where should we check next buddy?" With a sigh, Reno propped the Electro-Mag Rod on his shoulder and tapped his foot, waiting for his partner to choose where to check next.

Rei arrived at Traverse Town after leaving the Kitchen, without warning. He had to start his mission before it was too late because failure was never an option. He was standing on one of the rooftops, looking down at the two Turks. They were killing Shadows and Creepers and acting like it was some big accomplishment. Why was he sent to play around with a couple of rodents anyway? Oh well, his master's word was law and he couldn't disobey. "Well well.. I heard there was a few mice scurrying about but I had no idea I would have to pick up some trash."
The man started clapping lazily, a smirk on his face as he jumped down to the ground. "Such mighty warriors the Turks are. I'm sure those Shadows and Creepers were so hard to dispose of.. You must be out of breath for certain." A Creeper appeared behind the man, changing into a blade but before it could strike it suddenly dissolved. The rattle of chains echoed through the empty District, a clear signal that Rei had his dreaded Kusarigama in hand. the pitch black blade glowed faintly in the light provided by the lampposts nearby. "But enough of the jokes.. I normally don't take the time to toy around with the likes of you two so do try to make it worth my time."

Rude watched his friend fight. A Creeper got stuck in the ceiling of the restaurant. He muffled a chuckle as he watched it kick its feet out. He felt sorry for the poor thing. Reno zapped it and it disappeared into darkness. He walked over and stood next to his friend. “Kitchen might have some.” He shrugged and looked around. One of the lamp posts did look odd to him.
He heard a voice and looked over his shoulder, not knowing that his friend would be turning around too, but with Reno his movements were quicker. As his friend spun around, Rude was hit on the forehead by Reno’s metal weapon. Rude was knocked off his feet and he knocked over a table as he fell to the ground. He let out a low groan and looked up at the ceiling of the restaurant. At least his sunglasses were fine. He rubbed his forehead and sat up. The bald man looked up at his friend giving him an expression that read ‘Why?’ on his face. He adjusted his sunglasses on the bridge of his nose and stood back up. He brushed the dirt off his clothes.
He let out a long sigh and stared at the man under the lamp post. He pulled on his gloves. “Hey partner…” He waited for Reno to reply before continuing. “Sad he doesn’t like jokes.” He grinned and tilted his head to look at Reno. “Ready when you are partner.” He shot a glare at Rei through his sunglasses.
Reno ignored the look his partner gave him. Instead, he focused on Rei and sighed. "You're right Rude. This guy's got some serious problems. Looks like we're gonna have to teach him a lesson and finish our mission at the same time. It'll be fun kicking Akito's right-hand man's a**." Chuckling to himself, he tapped the Electro-Mag Rod on his shoulder and eyed Rei for a moment longer. "Y'know Rei, you shouldn't be such an uptight d**k. We Turks are a lot tougher than you Guild dicks give us credit for. These little guys are nothin' but a warm-up for future missions. You see, we Turks don't need keyblades. We're tough enough without 'em!" Nodding his head, obviously feeling proud of himself, he swung his weapon behind him and clobbered a poor Shadow with it, turning it back into darkness. "See? They're nothin'!"
Stepping away from Rude, the man with the flaming hair nodded to his partner to signal that he go around the other side. They were going to try a flanking attack first to gauge how Rei would react in such a situation. When two Creepers reared their ugly heads, Reno grumbled and zapped them both with a Thunder spell, griping at 'em for getting in his way. When they decided to try and attack him, he whacked them both with his weapon and watched as they faded into nothingness just as their friends had done before them. These things wouldn't be a problem normally, but trying to deal with them and fight off Rei isn't gonna be easy. Rude, I hope you're up to this challenge. When Reno reached the railing that went from the top of the stairs near Cid's shop down to the main plaza of the First District, he looked to Rei again and felt a single sweat drop trickle from his forehead down his left cheek. When it dropped to the ground, he narrowed his eyes and readied his weapon. Rude...let's do this!
