WOOHOO!!
(Actually it was a couple of days ago, but I haven't been on Gaia lately)
I think this makes us the...eighth state to legalize it? Uh...actually I have no idea. I wanna say eighth though. I could very easily be wrong though.
Opponents want a referendum in November, but even with that I don't think it'll be repealed anytime soon. The district I live in is the only republican district in Maryland (last time I checked).

I firmly believe that every state will eventually legalize gay marriage.
It may not be for another 30-40 years until the 50th state (51st if you count D.C., it's legal there) legalizes same sex marriage, but I believe it'll happen someday.
