I know I know we have a thousand of these threads.
But yeah since starting the pill two months ago, my two periods since have been really bad. Way worse than before I started the pill. Like before, I would have very light periods that lasted maybe 3 days at most. Now, I get a heavy flow and it lasts 5 days and horrible stomach cramps.
It was bad enough today that I decided to skip my lecture and stay in bed all day. I probably could have gone but it's a boring lecture because the lecturer is a very monotonous speaker and he puts the transcripts up online anyway.
My boyfriend has been so nice though. He came to see me and I told him how much pain I was in. He went out and bought me painkillers and ice cream and we've just been cuddling in bed all day and he gave me a massage. 4laugh

It could be because your body is adjusting to the BC still. It can take a while for it to get used to it.
IDK what to really say because BC made my periods worse, but that is because of my Endometriosis.

Like alyssa said it's probably just adjusting. Give it a few months, but mine took a year before it was fully adjusted.

Do you guys think it's worth mentioning to my GP next month when I go in to get another prescription? I might just mention it and get her opinion (in case idk there are better options out there).

I would mention it, but any doctor I have mentioned it to just told me to wait a few more months. Because if they put you on a new BC pill, the same thing will just happen until you get used to the new one, unless you are on a continuous dose.
