Learanian Legacies (LL) is where we conduct RP associated with our guild's canon storyline and world. The regular RP forum is for FE RP in general that doesn't have to do with the guild's canon RP.

The best way to start your own RP would be to come up with an idea, pitch it, see who's interested and then go from there. I've seen plenty of people who just make a topic, assuming people will just wander in, and then it dies because nobody joins- because it either doesn't interest anybody, they don't see how it could involve them, or they just don't want to join something that doesn't look like anybody else is going to take part in.

The same can be said for if you wanted to make your own RP in LL. Our canon RP has grown so large scale that I fully understand how overwhelming it can seem. However, jumping in can be truly very easy. Using FE games as an example, look at the different ways characters have joined your party. It just takes a little creative thinking and maybe some planning with other people.

To answer your question about the mini-events, these are smaller scale stories open to everyone, usually headed by at least one crew. Mini-events can be a small celebration RP, a side story to the main RP, etc. Right now however, the two mini-events we have in LL aren't really open to people anymore. Valentine's for sure cannot be joined by anybody because of the nature of the dates. However, you could technically enter Arajudia if you can come up with a plausible reason for why/how whichever character could to be there. Since everybody's already broken out of the prison, it's not so easy to do that anymore.

I will say though, that the next main event isn't far away. Because of casting and other issues, it's been delayed some and is technically on pause while we change and rethink certain plot things and casting because of player departure. But, we're workin' on it. And main events are usually the easiest way to jump into the action, plus I can help brainstorm creative ways to enter it.

But if you're looking for RP much sooner, and I can't blame you for it, then my suggestion would be to come up with your own topic. If said topic is going into LL, then just make sure you have basic understanding of our world and recent events. (countries, where you want the RP to be, the fact that we're in war times, etc) No need to know every little thing, I don't think anybody really does.

...Also, it just occurred to me that you're Serra! With that point, you have a choice you can make.

Serra has already had an established presence in our canon RP. You see, a member had formerly claimed her as her 2nd character, but relinquished her to be free for others to pick because her life got busy. She hasn't really done all that much, though. She was in a ship battle with some others and then had a few minor mingling posts here and there. That said, you can choose to be that same Serra and sort of pick up with people already knowing you, so that you're not the new character in town. Or, you can use our derp power of alternate timelines and such and choose to be a new Serra that has just been brought to Learania. Kind of ridiculous, yes, but it works and makes things fair for new members like yourself. (And no, there wouldn't be two Serra's running around)

With whatever you choose, Serra is the type of character that can pretty much go wherever she wants and do whatever she wants without other people going "why?", so there's a plethora of possibilities with a characters like her.

And for other members reading this, maybe you can help me think of what connections Serra made with other characters when Kurai had her.

Serra should join the guard cough cough shameless plugging cough cough. Wallace will whip her into shape though.
