Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.
The Tower of Origins bore no light, it's windows gave no illumination. It had not shone brightly since it's take over by the scourge known as Darkrai, who currently resided within the leader of the Elite, Eridanus. Within it's dark confines two voice spoke in hushed tones. Both familiar in their own way. 'You have to do something. You have to help them.' 'What business do I have in their affairs, and I thought you said you couldn't-' 'I lied before, it is well within my power to bring you here, but I'm afraid I'm at my limit. What this Eevee has done, what he's made me do. They won't stand a chance unless they know what's to come!' '...I've lost everything already...' 'Do you want them all to suffer the same fate as you then? Do you want him to? I may not be like you, but at least I'm not so selfish to-' 'I'll do it. I'm going now. Will you-' 'No. I won't. But there is another like me, my own flesh and blood. He is capable of such a feat but it may be too much for him. It seems we're alike after all. Like you I'm willing to risk it all to save this world. Even him.' 'That is where we differ.' The voice faded, the other realized then that their companion had vanished and so the darkness was her only company. 'Good luck.'
Throughout the guild a Psychic message rang clear, it resonated within the minds of a single individual per team. You've done well. So many battles won, so many foes defeated. There is but one left for you to face before the world is once more restored to it's proper balance. The only problem is you're not ready for him. The last obstacle. The most powerful Pokemon in existence, legendary themselves excluded. Eridanus.
Should you wish to prepare you need only meet me where the sun and moon cross paths. A Mountain north of the kingdom, its peaks obscured in fog.
It is here I will prepare you for what lies before you. I know, for I've seen what lies in store for those that come unprepared. I've seen the death you face should you fail.
Come then, guilds of many, Pokemon of all species, if you wish to stand a chance in your final battle. Join me on the Twisted Spire.
The voice had been warped and was unfamiliar. It was unclear who the message come from but it had made its point.
It was time to prepare...
{You may only have one character PER TEAM, this means for high ranked guild officials as well. Since Solly is going then none of his team can go.}

In this chapter you will be graded for your literary performance! Each of your posts will be read and carefully looked over for mistakes and errors as well as nice sentence structure and descriptive paragraphs. You'll be given a score between 1 and 10. 1 being horrible and 10 being brilliant! Your score will not be posted for all to see, it will be marked down in private and at the end of the chapter you will receive a PM of your score as well as your rewards which will be determined by your performance. We're not here to embarrass anyone we just want to make sure we're all up to literacy standards. The actual assessment has yet to begin so continue being lazy good-for-nothings like me until stated otherwise.
{tl;dr Make good posts, get nice things.}
 Solaris
A mysterious voice from out of nowhere who knew about Eridanus and was offering to train them all on a mountain so high that no one could see it's peak from any distance on the entire region. Sounded legit, let's do it. Solaris swaggered into the main hall, stepping lightly on his paws with only a slight moment of hesitation before he struck the alarm across the room with a Swift. Rattled from the last attack, the guildmaster sat back on his haunches and waited patiently for the members of the guild to arrive. This was entirely foolish, but something about the voice was a bit familiar to him and even then if it turned out they were being lured into a trap then defeating the a*****e who tricked them would prove to be decent training in itself. It was win-win to Solaris. So long as no one caught wind of this and chewed him out for making rash decisions. Which, okay, he kinda was but he had very good reason this time. The mysterious voice told him to do it. That was a good reason. Solly logic is best logic.

Ailleen
"Yes. Yes Emily, lets screw all logic and send the crippled girl on the mission. Yes, lets do that right now. Who cares were they go? All I want to see as that Vulpix suffer...." The Vulpix limped into the hall dragging her mangled leg behind her. "And for what? For taking her on a freaking mission! No one freaking got hurt! We met Emily! We took down some freaking bad guys. We had fun. And apparently they don't care!" The Vulpix was almost in hysterics. She looked to be on the verge of tears.
Upon entering the room, she instantly spotted the guildmaster. He was easy to spot, being huge for an Espeon. She turned her face to the ground as she felt the tears well up in her eyes. I will not cry.... Please... Arceus... Mesprit... Don't let me cry... She tried to push out all the sorrow. She couldn't bear it to have anyone give her pity. She hated pity, and it was sure to come if anyone saw her crying. She sucked in her chest and held her eyes shut, trying to convince herself that she was somewhere else.

"I can't believe Lunar called me crazy for listening to that voice in our heads." mumbled a frustrated Machop who went by the name of Hiro. How was it that a fighting type was more of a believer than his ghost partner? He shrugged off the thought as he walked to where his guild master was. Tightening his bandana around his arm a bit, he waited a bit awkwardly. Was he supposed to walk up to their leader and say something like 'Yo man you be rapping those beats homie. Man I go play b-ball.'? Calmly, he lightly stretched his arms. That was something a lot of Machops did. Train. Like. Mad. Either that or snack on something healthy. Hiro would snack on an orange but alas he brought none. So close. ((Just as a note the picture of my team is one entire thing. Just to not over complicate the BBC code like a boss. I do know only one person per team. Just saying this just in case you think I have both my team members when I don't. Oh and that idiotic language above is imitating the ghetto people in my neighborhood. They actually talk like that.))

HestiaHestia awoke in her bed in the Team Olympus abode, that voice... The Smoochum couldn't place it at all, but she did know it was important, though, was she the only one to hear it? Did anyone else? Looking around from her cot she noticed the team sleeping.
...This was odd. Maybe it was a message from Arceus? Though she never heard the voice of Arceus, just read about the god in texts and various sources. If it was, then as a nun of Arceism it was her duty to go, hearing the alarm ring she quickly got out of bed and said a quick prayer on her rosary before trotting out of the room. No one in the team had even gotten up.
...Odd.
As Hestia arrived at the meeting place she glanced around at the Pokemon who had already arrived before her, she didn't recognize any of them, well...except for the guild leader but then again it would be foolish not to know him. That rainbow tailed Vulpix seemed interesting too.
Anyways, Hestia had a duty to perform. She would perform it, "Sister Hestia of Team Olympus reporting sir."

Andrew
A pupitar grunted from his bed, passed out above the covers propped up against the wall. The strange voice was still echoing inside of his head when he awoke. What in Arceus' name was that? By the time had rose up and woken fully, the alarm for the guild sounded. Keeping light off the floor, the ground-type hovered to the living room expecting to see the rest of his team awake, but there was no one, or so he thought. "You're awake?" he glanced over at his nidorina partner, who blinked at him. "I couldn't sleep. I've been out here," she said. "You heard the alarm?" Andrew nodded. "And you heard the voice, right?" "The voice...?" The pupitar was caught a little off-guard, giving her a strange look, which she returned. "Should I... go wake up the rest of the team?" "No, Rani -" he said, "I'll answer the alarm. Stay here." The gray nidorina sighed as he pushed himself to the exit. "Alright." she sighed, "Be careful." Andrew honestly didn't know what to say back, leaving the dorm and carefully shut the door behind him.
The pupitar quickly 'jet-packed' into the main hall, catching eye of the three that arrived before him, unsure if he had seen any of them before, and the espeon in front.

OliverAlakazam were generally not known for their ability to go insane. This meant that the voice in Imiti's head was probably very much real. As if to confirm it, the guild alarm went off. "Hey guys, before you go--" Imiti told them about the message, quoting it word for word. "I'm...not sure. Someone just up and offers to train us out of the blue on a mountain whose peak happens to be hidden from normal view?""I agree. It's probably a trap." Having said that Oliver took the pack with his gear in it out of the corner, preparing to leave. "Wait, didn't you just say it's probably a trap?""There's still a chance it's not. And if it is I'm harder to kill than you two."

AliceThe voice touched her psychic at a rather convenient time on Alice’s end, thankfully. A number of her teammates were actually out or busy and those that remained behind within the security of their rather out of shape teamroom were easy to convince to allow her to go alone despite the events that happened prior. She simply told them that a friend from another team told her it was just some meeting… Though all this, it was very unnecessary and made her excuse questionable. Why did the alarm go off after that voice happened? Did it happen to anyone else, or only her? …why her? The small Gardevoir frowned at the thought as she continued to slowly make her way down the halls in silence. She didn’t want to be involved in all of this, but she couldn’t turn away from it either. Someone had to do something, after all. Maybe that’s why the voice came to her instead of someone like Ver or Freya. Maybe it was just a trap to kill off their numbers. Who knows. The anticipation built up as a tight ball in her chest as she recalled the words spoken. She didn’t know the voice, that much was true. Alice’s memory was unnaturally accurate since that weird evolution long ago. If she experienced something, she knew it. That aside, she couldn’t trace whatever did it. She couldn’t contact it on her own either, as if it never happened to begin with, which made her all the more uncomfortable. Now she just felt alone. The only one that knew anything was gone. Still, it wasn’t the end exactly. Twisted Spire. If it was really there, she was getting to see whatever it was anyway and if it really were true to it's words, it was probably the answer to their prayers. It was all the more reason to go though that hardly stopped the pressure on her conscious, telling her to stop while she still could.
Bringing herself back to reality as she closed in on the Hall’s entrance, Alice couldn’t exactly say she was surprised to see others here… though only so few. She halted at the doorway and took into consideration who was present exactly, but Solaris aside, everyone was casual. It made the situation all the most distrusting. She wanted to simply turn back toward the hallway and walk out but she got this far already. What if something good came out of this? Apparently they’d all just die otherwise. Needless to say, it just brought her right back to wondering why her—why anyone here present. Solaris was in charge of plenty and him being here sounded wrong compared to a few left unnamed others not present. It felt like a smack in the face telling you you were screwed. All the more power to her if she didn’t die or get caught or whatever. She had a few people off hand she could contact if anything seemed to be taking a turn for the worse anyway… if she were able to, if that time came. She remained in the doorway in silence for some time since getting there, saying nothing and looking at no one in particular as she reassured herself that everything would be fine and that she could get out of anything bad were to happen. It caused her to take a step forward before pausing again. Maybe she did know the voice and it was just… hidden, in a sense. Maybe someone from the guild itself was doing this set up for the sake of preparation. Was that time really so close? It’s been so long.
The Gardevoir’s hands clutched the sides of her dress tightly as her mindless stare into the guild tinted with a sense of worry, gesturing her silent panic beginning to get the better of her. She wanted someone she knew to be here. It would be fine though. She had to do something—someone had to do something. What if she didn’t? It couldn’t have been an option. Anyone could say no, but maybe everyone contacted had to go less something bad happens all the sooner. She couldn’t do that to anybody. Who knows, if they did die, maybe her death would bring about some miracle they needed for the rest to prevail. If all this time here taught her anything, it was that way more was possible than impossible. There was always hope of some sort. Alice closed her purple eyes and took a deep breath before releasing her grip on her dress, reopening her eyes and walking into the hall with a cleared mind. It only remained that way long enough for her to take that first necessary step forward. She now only hoped that voice would reassure her of the better and if not, then she'd have to wait for it-- or at least hope it came back. Twisted Spire it was, for the better or worse. By the time she came still again against the security of a back wall, her eyes began to scan the others as she took a shaky breath; their expressions in particular, leaving the only words to cross her mind being 'I don't want to die.'

"It's settled. I'm the one hearing disembodied voices so I get to go~." A certain Celebi's rang in a singsong tone strong over the rest of his team gathered for a short conference; well, those that were willing to give up their precious off time for such a disruption at least. "Was it specified if you could send anyone in place of yourself? I just don't think tha-" "Exactly right you are~. You don't think. Isn't this what you took up my services for? I've indebted myself to this team and now you want to turn around and say that you think you have others or even you yourself are better apt for this? Oh~nononono. I can read you like a book, and you're wrong~." He was met with objection from one of his team's co-captains, however the little girl was pretty easy to shoot down and shut up. The sad thing was, he was right in a majority of what he had said. The young Riolu stood there torn, filled with guilt for even thinking so high of herself. Yes, she was her team's leader along with her brother, but who is to say she would be more apt than him for this challenge ahead, or anyone for that matter? Her title of power was meaningless here, but it was clear to her now more than ever that she herself needed to get stronger too just to prove that damn pixie wrong. "I just wanted to suggest that you may not be as familiar with the enemy at hand than some of us...but you're right; you owe this to the guilds." She spoke, still having to get the last word in despite her recent epiphanies about her own worth. That and it was amusing to add in the last bit of how the partial legendary wouldn't be doing this for himself, rather the guilds which he was now working under. If she had a say in this, she at least wanted to make sure he wouldn't be off having a ball of a time; this situation at hand deserved utmost gravity. "Fine, fine, whatever you say~. Wish me luck~. Don't miss me too much~. If they find my body on the battlefield, just have them leave me there, no sense in having any of you worry yourselves with a proper burial~." He pipped out a couple more sarcastically lined statements before heading for the door, off to join the congregation of other 'chosen' guildians.
Blight had a stroll through the cool, outdoor air ahead of him before he would reach the Sun Guild, he having also been the recipient of a mentally transmitted message beckoning his attendance. He took his leave without word, so as long as no one else from his team got notice, he was in the clear, they just thinking he was probably out running errands or something. Granted, even that much was a bit of a stretch; the Lopunny, as of late being well aware of the fact that he rarely even got out much anymore. Guild troubles? The world ending? Simple household chores? He didn't care about any of that; he couldn't help but be taken over by a sense of apathy towards all those miniscule things ever since his evolution. He had lost his sense of adventure in an effort to settle down and manage his team, but in the process he only ended up realizing that as much was hardly necessary. If anything, Chase would make a better leader just in character alone. Sure, he was the first one to evolve himself, and he was probably a bit stronger accordingly, but that Kirlia, as feminine as his species destined, could always hold his own rather well. Frail but truly a determined soul, Chase was undoubtedly the more apt at completing, well, anything when comparing the two. So why was he called to this task anyway?... The Lopunny let out a long, built up sigh as he reached the gates of his destination and entered to accompany the rest of the masses, most of which were familiar faces but no one he would associate with really on his own like this.
Mikhail was conflicted from the very moment he was presented with the task at hand. He acknowledged the fact that he was being summoned as a warrior by a force beyond what his normal duties called for, but how was he to react to this. Never mind the fact that he was contacted telepathically and this particular Weavile had a fair share of experience with voices in his head. He began to question the entire validity of what was presented to him; he questioned his own mental state in this process. He also questioned the morality of this all and could only come to one decision: he would be composing himself mentally and physically for a short moment then heading out. He wouldn't be telling Eira that he was heading out or his reasons for doing so for that matter. It would be inappropriate to disturb her rest anyway. As of late though, his position more than anything has stood as her keeper, a bedside servant with the sole purpose in mind of tending to his guildmaster's, his lover's, needs in a time of stress and consequential illness. She was far to delicate to be troubled by such news as his sudden departure like this, and if aid like his was truly needed, there were plenty more capable guild members that would surely be able to care for her at a moment's notice. He had to leave, and soon, for the sake of affirming his sanity and protecting everything dear to him.

  Victor - Scarface
It was hardly a choice to be made, Victor was to be the one to take part in this mission on behalf of Team Dropkick. He was the most experienced, and this mission required more than just good brute strength, which was what Aiden's specialty was. Not to mention Victor felt he had more at stake, being a Pokemon who worked for the Royal Family for basically his entire life. He'd fight, he'd die, he'd go unremembered for his kingdom. To the Scyther, it was simply part of his job description.
There were quite a few Pokemon already present when Victor arrived in the Main Hall. "Not much of an army, yet..." The Scyther muttered as he eyed the various types of Pokemon that were present. A Smoochum, a Lopunny, a Vulpix... Any military force could look at the turnout and think the Guilds were simply pushovers. Victor knew better, though.
A few soft thuds and vibrations could suddenly be felt in the hall's floor, one beat after another. Something large was approaching. Indeed it was, as the record-breakingly large Arcanine Guildmaster known as Scarface entered the Main Hall. The huge Pokemon sat down on his haunches not far from his colleague from the Sun Guild. "Solaris! De' Guild of FIre is with you, amigo!" The proud Arcanine assured the Espeon with a smile. It was about time Antonio Rebenga joined the fight.

Erinn Join me on the Twisted Spire. From where he rested on the sill of his Team's newly repaired picture window, Erinn stared outside restlessly. The Paras was troubled in more ways than one, but his most immediate concern was the voice inside his head. The message had come a short time ago, resounding in his head as loudly as if he'd been listening to someone whisper in his ear. He'd jolted up in alarm, much to his Teammates' concern, but had insisted that it was nothing. He couldn't tell them he was hearing voices after all, that would make him seem foolish; he had enough troubles as it was without hearing voices.
The Paras' mind was in a twist about the strange occurrence. There had been stranger things that had happened to Guild members than strange voices in their heads, stranger things had happened even to him. He'd had his body switched with Ethfael's, he'd chased after a psychotic Umbreon in the dark of night, he'd even survived through what could have been the apocalypse when that monstrous Torterra had barged in and wreaked havoc upon the Guild in its entirety. Still though, it was a shaking experience to hear a voice within your mind that wasn't your own, and Erinn was still recovering from a bout of shivers brought on by it. That wasn't the worst of it though, the Bug Type was skeptical that the message had even been intended for him to begin with. Sure someone with the power to telepathically communicate from who knew where probably knew what they were doing, but the Paras had to doubt it all the same. He was a Bug Type, the lowliest of Pokemon, and he'd done next to nothing in this entire fight against Eridanus. If the voice wanted someone it should have told Era or Ethfael, they would have gone in an instant. Almost any member of the Team would have been up for it, even Faran who was hardly old enough to be in a battle at all: but not him. He was a detriment to his Team, he was what held them back from being the best they could be, so why would the voice tell him to join it in preparation for this final battle? He probably wouldn't even have the courage to help the Guilds when it came to that.
You've done well. The words seemed to echo in Erinn's ears. He hadn't done well. He hadn't done anything at all for this cause! He sulked where he sat upon the windowsill and stared up at the cloudy skies above. He was the weakest link of his Team, he knew it as a fact. No Pokemon was as worthless as he was, not any Pokemon who joined a Rescue Team that is. The Paras' large, glassy eyes grew somewhat moist as he stared up at the sky, looking for an answer between the graying clouds. He didn't want to be useless; there was nothing he desired more than to be strong like Ethfael, or clever like Riley, or courageous like Era. The problem was that he didn't have it in him, not that Erinn could see. Time and time again he'd tried to find that missing part of himself, the way to make him into what he wanted to be instead of what he was, and time and time again he'd been foiled in his attempt, crashing into the mental wall that he couldn't penetrate. His claw found the stone that hung about his neck and he laughed bitterly to himself. I really am pitiful, aren't I? The only thing that's keeping me alive is a rock." There were times when Erinn had considered removing the stone, letting the parasite take over and ending the miserable existence that he lived in, but in the end... I'm not even brave enough to do that.
As he stayed there, listening to the seconds tick away and feeling sorry for himself, a part of his mind aroused that had been dormant for a long time. Don't think things like that, remember how you got this 'rock?' Erinn blinked in surprise and looked down at the Everstone in his claw, thinking back to the time when he'd received it. Ah yes, Trillian and Derrick. He smiled a bit as he thought of the quarreling Kadabra and Marshtomp and the adventures they'd had together. That was when their Team had first been starting out, it had only been Era and Ethfael and him back then. They'd helped those two find Manaphy and get their Heartswap reversed; he would never forget how good it had felt to have helped them or how proud he was to have completed his first mission as a Guild member. What had happened to that Erinn? What had happened to the Erinn who left the home he'd known all his life to thank the two heroes who had saved his neighborhood from that Stantler terror and secretly hoped that they would let him join them? That Erinn had wanted to be a hero too, just like this one, but that Erinn had a spark that didn't fade which kept him going. Maybe all he needed to do was get back that spark, and maybe the way to do that was to answer this mysterious summons that he had received.
At that moment the alarm bell shattered the Paras' thoughts, causing him to practically fall off his perch in shock. He came down to the floor a bit more gracefully than falling (though not by much) and looked to the left and right in surprise. There was no one else there: it looked like the entire Team had just packed up and deserted him. Obviously that wasn't the case, and Erinn figured that they'd probably said something to him but he hadn't been listening. Of course, if there was no one else here, that meant that no one else had heard the alarm. And if no one else had heard the alarm... "Ohhh no. No. No. No." The Paras spoke aloud, looking about somewhat more frantically than before. "This is your fault isn't it!" he called up to the ceiling as though it would direct his words to the source of that voice that had spoken to him. Receiving no answer Gee, I wonder why? Erinn bit his lip nervously and stared at the half-open door to the Team Room. Fate was taunting him and he knew it, but did he really have any choice? He couldn't let his Team down, not like this, not again. With a deep breath he stared at the door for one more long moment, as though hoping someone else might materialize to take his place there, and then hurried out, closing the door behind him as he left.
Erinn trembled slightly as he made his way down to the Main Hall as quickly as he could. It felt to the Paras as though a pair of judging eyes were watching him as he traveled through the halls. There was a fine line between kindly judgment and harsh judgment, and the Bug Type certainly couldn't tell which one this was, or even if he was only imagining it. He'd made up his mind to be sure, but this didn't make the going any easier. Erinn looked over his shoulder to see if he could spot his observer, but found nothing there. "Great," he muttered to himself, moving a little faster as his nervousness heightened yet again, "First voices in my head, now something invisible watching me. Soon they'll be telling me I'm paranoid." While the Paras was prone to panic, he didn't consider himself particularly paranoid. He didn't think everything was out to get him, just most things. Still, despite his grumblings, Erinn was more than happy to find himself in the safety of numbers upon arriving in the Main Hall. Not as many numbers as he'd thought, but still more than just him.
The Bug Type swallowed with some difficulty as he saw Solaris in the middle of the gathering of Guild members. Of course the Espeon would be there, he'd known that from the moment he'd heard the alarm bell. Erinn tentatively came closer to the others, looking around from face to face. There weren't many that he'd seen before but he did recognize one: that Gardevoir surely must be the same Kirlia with whom he and Ethfael had traveled during that search for the Umbreon in the middle of the night. He didn't say anything, for fear that he was wrong, but came up to join the group after shooting her a hurried glance. He didn't meet Solaris' eyes as he stood there, burning with shame as he felt the Espeon look at him in the process of taking in all his Guild members who were present. The Psychic Type had let him off without punishment after he'd let a group of thieves disturb the Guild and he still didn't entirely believe that he'd been forgiven for that act. Well, so what? the friendly thoughts prodded him slightly, You'll show him that he can trust you now. Erinn blinked in surprise at the rationale of his thoughts and nodded slightly, holding his head a little higher upon accepting them. Yes, he'd go to the Spire with the rest of them and he'd prove to Solaris and to himself that he had what it took to be a hero, just like the rest of his Team.

( GOOP )Oh, oh, oh he knew there was something funny going on in here! That voice told him to come here and he came here and there were people here! The fire hair and the blue man and everyone else was tired, but he could go! He would go and make his friends happy and make the voice happy too. Why? Because he liked making people happy. When people were happy, it meant they liked him! And he wanted people to like him, is all. Because angry people weren't nice people.
So many others had come here, as well, were they nice people? They all looked okay to him, really. That one over there, with the candy tails, she looked like missy fire hair! Yes, yes, and the one with the scarf, just like the blue man, only bigger! So, they had to be nice people, right? He looked over at someone else, Oh! Oh her hair looked pretty, it looked like bubblegum, he really liked bubblegum! Wait, didn't he know her? Well, she looked taller, but...but the face was the same!
Yeah, he remembered her, from when he slipped through the door that one time. All he knew was that she was a nice lady, but that was more than enough! She looked kinda weird, though, maybe he should go be nice to her? Oh, but then, would she like him too? Did she even like him now?
The Shellos blankly stared at Alice as his mind tried to perform simple thought processes that weren't "om" and "nom". ✗ Louvell ✗What a bore, this was. Why would it be Louvell, of all people, who would have to undergo the task of representing his team? Basil had told him that he was going insane, more so then he already apparently was. That he was hearing voices, that wasn't normal, go out and get some fresh air and deal with the alarm while he was at it. Naturally nobody wanted to tag along, a Poochyena who could light a man on fire without hesitation was arleady cause for alarm enough. When that Poochyena stated hearing voices in his head, it was a sign to stay as far away from him as possible.
But he just couldn't shake the feeling this was his minds doing. No, it was too odd, too random. It was not something his mind would do to him, and if it was he certainly wouldn't have the urge to tell anyone. The alarm had rung soon after, aswell, so something was definitely wrong. So it seemed that he would have to deal with it himself this time. What a bummer.
Nobody here looked particularly interesting to him. Maybe a bit odd, yes, but nothing that took him aback or that he hadn't seen before. Even more boring. Well, this would just be splendid now, wouldn't it? Fun times. Though, at a second glance, that Arcanines paw over there was kind of cool. How much would it take for him to get one of those? Probably more money than he actually had, and he had no money. Ah well, it would probably melt off anyways before he could put it to good use.
Louvell yawned, the flames that went over his back settling down a bit as the rested idly over his fur. He was tired, bored, hungry, bored, sore, and bored. He sincerely hoped these little toy soldiers he was associating himself with now would pack in more power when they were wound up...he'd just fall asleep right on the scene without something nice to look at.

Tolin
Tolin rested in his chair. The silence around him was stifling. The team room he lived in was large, very much so. It had to be, for for so long it had been party to a great many people. It was quiet now. Quiet and empty. It seemed so terribly normal. But he knew and he knew well if he was to open a door and step into a room, he would find nothing but beds both empty and unmade. Everyone else had left, barring Serrin, but his friend was his own man and it wasn't uncommon for him to leave at times. So, all Tolin was left with was a home that showed little beyond the dwindling presence of life and the absence of it's occupants. Of course, he couldn't blame them. They knew what had happened and, very likely, what was yet to happen. All of them had reasons and they were faultless in their desire to run. It was simply fear, for all of them. A fear for the world they lived in, but above all else a fear for themselves and a fear for the ones they loved. Albus, especially. More than possibly even Tolin he appreciated well enough the power of what was facing them down so the Scyther could do nothing other than respect the decision to flee. They were all safe now in a far off place. It was the best for everyone involved, he reasoned. They had already lost a friend who, in spite of his... status had become dear to them. With him gone, Tolin could no longer even afford them protection if it came down to it. Yes, it was best by far that they had left for safety.
Well... no matter how he thought of it, it did nothing to ward off the oppressive silence. Tolin could only glance about at half-empty cupboards and mostly cleaned dishes. It had been such a short, short time that he had lived without Lia and her presence was missed greatly both in what she did day-to-day and simply the enjoyable nature of another quiet, mature adult. Of course, he missed all of them. Laura and Albus were a heartwarming sight, as slow and naive as they were. William, in spite of his age and his past, had a wonderful and pleasant demeanor that was nice to be around. Sam's experiments were often a source of passive curiousity, though they were never fruitful. And, Puer... was his companion, in many ways. They had entered society together and they had spent some time fumbling through it in their own ways. It was strange not to see him.
It was the worst sort of state to be in, as he rested in the chair. He couldn't help but feel terrible or miserable in some respect, but, there was no tangible source that he could combat or fight off. Instead he was simply left with an invasive silence that drained all but his own thoughts that inevitably turned to subjects he would rather not consider. Like the last time he was really, truly alone. All those years he had spent.
He regretted them.
It was foolish.
It was running away under the guise of atonement and worthlessness.
And then the voice came, thundering against the back of his mind as his jolted him free from this thoughts. Wary, but pleased, he couldn't help but think that it was a welcome alternative to resting the night through in worthless introspection. It did, however, bug him... something about it. He wasn't sure, though for the time being he would simply chalk it up to mere caution. It wasn't often a voice called out to you in the night. Tolin's scythes slid into the nicks on the armrests as he pushed himself to his feet. As he stepped out into the hall it became obvious he wasn't the only recipient as a single member of each team left. It seemed... odd in most regards if it were a ploy by Eridanus. There was little reason for him to expose himself at this point and no reason to attack with anything less than full force. Perhaps it was wishful thinking, but it was a gamble worth making in the sense that if they lost they did little beyond hastening an otherwise inevitable end. They had lost a great deal as it was. They needed to grow in strength before they would stand a chance.
"Curious, isn't it?"
Tolin glanced back, not entirely surprised as Charles shifted into existence. As if his skin had been bleached, the colours that served to obscure him from the eyes of most faded for the sake of convenience. "I'm surprised. I didn't think it would contact a legendary." Tolin's voice was dry, as if he already knew the answer.
Charles merely gave a chuckle as his skin returned to it's normal, neutral grey-blue shade. "I normally ignore the bantering of psychics, but whenever a powerful message comes through it's worth investigating."
It was as Tolin had expected. Charles was little more than an unwelcome tag-along who had simply listened in on something that wasn't intended for him. Well, it was good all the same. It gave them a nice safety net in case things went wrong... provided it wasn't Eridanus personally, he could hopefully goad Charles into killing whoever was causing them problems if only to satisfy his own curiousity. The mew also had a healthy personal interest in seeing things through so the prospect of help wasn't beyond the realm of possibility though it certainly wasn't something to rely on either. It would simply have to do.

Solaris It was interesting to see who had been picked among the entirety of the guilds. Did the voice have an particular specifications for who it called or was it all left to fate and utterly random. Solaris didn't know and he was far from being the type to care enough to consider it. They were summoned, that was all he needed to know. And so he waited. The large Espeon's eyes were closed in thought, oblivious to the sounds of the guild as they made their way to where he stood. He tuned them out, instead paused to consider what lay before them. Now that he had a moment to think he found this voice to be more threatening than welcoming and the Psychic worried over his decision to go now. But they'd faced far worse before. So much worse. They had stood against legendary after legendary, fought humans with their capture devices and won. They had traversed the reverse world dimension while Giratina loomed threateningly overhead. They'd fought the Elite, defeating Pokemon who walked the line between legendary and mortal. Through it all they lost some Pokemon, friends and family alike. They'd suffered through pain unimagineable and sorrow so deep it threatened to smother them. They had faced so much and here they stood against what could possibly be their greatest challenge yet. Eridanus, leader of the Elite, possessed by the malicious force of Darkrai himself. He had no more soldiers to throw against them, none besides the dark Lopunny who was hardly as powerful as the other Elite. They could win, he thought, they could destroy him. And now they waited, patiently gathering to go to the voice that assured them they could defeat Eri with the right training. The guildmaster was a mix of things then, worried and confident as well as afraid and daring. He swapped between each quickly without settling on a single one. His nerves were wound so tightly it was as though he would break into pieces if he moved and so he remained stationary. It was only upon spotting Tolin that he stood back to his paws and faced the guilds. Of course, of course the Scyther would be picked to come along. Despite his fur being rubbed the wrong way over it, Solaris chose to ignore the other Pokemon entirely. 'After all, what's a petty spat if one of us doesn't act like a child.' "I assume all of you gathered here recieved a message of some type." The Espeon began, a quick teleport perched him on Tolin's should so he could be seen more easily. The Scyther would need to cope, he'd lost his Scizor pedastal ages ago and needed a platform of some kind. Six feet of Scyther would do. "Now, I am prepared to meet the onslaught of 'Solly this is a bad idea' but need I remind everyone that I AM IN CHARGE! ME! MEEEE! You'll do as I say and like it! We're going to go kick this disembodied voice's a**!....do...dismebodied voices have asses?" He paused to peer down at Tolin at this question before deciding it wasn't worth waiting for an answer. "Now then! Onward! I'll teleport us all to the base of the mountain once everyone is ready!" "I see none of the certain death changed your personality. Shame. Perhaps torture would work..." Solaris glanced over to see who had spoken, his tail smacking Tolin in the face as he did so. "Tempest!"
Tempest Laying in a hospital bed for weeks at a time would put anyone in a bad mood. For Tempest is was exceptionally bad to the point she'd taken to electrically charging her heart monitor until it flatlined and startled every nurse in the area. A horrible prank, but she needed something to ease the boredom. It worked too, in more ways than one, they let her go with the idea that if she was well enough to play pranks she was well enough to leave. None of the nurses came to say goodbye when she prepared to leave and that was fine with the Pikachu. Now, staring at the Espeon towering above her thanks to a certain insect, she narrowed her eyes from behind her glasses. They had been adjusted to a pair of black straps that kept them from sliding off her face due to her lack of a right ear. It was lucky for her she no longer needed to pause every moment to adjust them, now she could focus entirely on glaring viciously a the moronic Psychic kitty that insisted on making their lives difficult. "Ever thought this would be a trap by Eridanus? Or did it never occur to you?" The expression on the Espeon's face as he gazed back at her was answer enough and Tempest had to resist the impulse to strangle him with his own tail. "Meh, fine. It's not like I haven't been enjoying our dance with death thus far. May as well go for a record with this. 'How many times I've avoided being stabbed'. Fun game, fun game. Mind you Solaris, if you play it with me I can't guarantee your safety unless you're a good ten feet away and covered in plastic bubble-wrap." The electric type raised her paws to shift her scarf around before dropping to all fours and trotting closer in preparation for the teleport that was to come as soon as Solaris stopped being terrified of her.
 Harley
"Is this a cemetery? It must be...because it's about to be filled with bodies." Waking Harley up in the morning was possibly the worst thing anyone could ever do and still expect to walk away with only minor enemies. Of course, as there as no actual body walking away from her she couldn't vent her rage on anyone in particular. Cursing Psychics and their entire existence the Mightyena made her way down the hall of the West Wing in no real hurry to get to the main hall. She didn't particularly want to go, she had other things on her mind that required attention. She didn't want to go without-Harley glanced to the side on her right where for so long the black and red Vulpix had walked at her side. The space there was empty, no masked fox to warn her not to lose her temper or offer any words of insight. Her heart sunk as she forced her gaze forward to enter the main hall. Though she saw the Pokemon gathered she made no move to interact or speak to any of them. Harley was content to remain on the sidelines with her ears flattened in remorse. It had been esy enough before, her and Kit had grabbed the children of their team and fled to the back of the guild during the last attack. The vines had blocked nearly every exit but they'd been fortunate enough to find a room with a window still open. Aries leapt out to the bottom first, landing gracefully on his paws in the manner of cats. He stood below as one by one the children were tossed down to him. Cheshire, Twitch, Jet, Nilla. He caught them each with one of the guilds flags he'd torn down to act as a trampoline. Once the kids were all out safely, Harley and Kit prepared to make their own escape when the vine slammed down to block their exit... "Alright, looks like everyone is here! Let's go!" Harley glanced up sharply at the voice, the guildmaster's eyes were giving a bright, lavender glow as he began to teleport them away. The Mightyena heaved a sigh and stepped forward into the range of the move so that she too could be whisked away to the Twisted Spire. (To TWISTED SPIRE. Violet Dawn In Clouded SkiesSkye awoke with a start, her head pounding with the force of a full-strength migraine. She dragged herself from her nest on the top bunk, gritting her teeth against the pain. She was used to having Psychic-typed speaking inside her mind, but this voice was unfamiliar, and it had dragged her from her slumber. Sleep was when a mind was at its most vulnerable; it was how dreams and nightmares seemed to shake people as greatly as they did.
As swiftly as it had come, the voice was gone. Thankfully the headache went with it. She didn't want to wait, already assured of what had to be done. Pawsteps were silent, movements cautious and slow. Waking Azra, or one of the others in her team... it just generally seemed like a poor idea. If the message was meant for them, it would have come to them.
It wasn't long before she was out and moving toward the others. Though she was indeed a little late, she was still just in time to be caught in the mass Teleport that Solaris had waved over them. The feeling was indescribable, as always. A squeezing sensation that brought a tingling numbness coursing through her body. Flashes of extreme heat and icy cold, a ripping and tearing in her chest. All of the same, only to be brought back in one piece, feeling whole and safe again. Sadly, she had a feeling that the dark void of the negative space around her would bring something less than safety, this time.
{{ Keiran is also joining. As of now. }}
