STARTING STAGE : 1 (or 2)
DESIRED JOB LOCATION: Farm
JOB TYPE: Starter Job: Farm hand. After finally learning the basics Catty is given tasks most suited for her. Tending to the animals to the best of her abilities. While she can tend to crops the task is a little too delicate for her, and rather than risking killing the little seedlings, she's been set to taking care of creatures that are a little more...sturdy.
Secured Job: By this time point in time Catty has purchased her own little plot of land in which to raise her animals. While she does grow crops most of it goes towards feeding her menagerie of beasts and her own table. She makes her money by selling livestock and the things they produce, like milk and eggs, cheese and mayo, wool and meat. Eventually she would like to tackle breeding and selling of horses, but for now, that's still a dream.
BRIEF HISTORY: Catty is a girl with small country dreams from the big city. She wants that white picket fence dream of a loving husband, two kids and 20.5 animals. While she never expected to get it (She was after all on the fast track to becoming a Doctor) her roommate and best friend filled her head with talk about farm life and well, it stuck. Coming from a wealthy upper crust family with actual blue blood in her veins, (Her mother was so proud to be able to tie the family lineage to Nobility) her family just couldn't wrap their minds about why she wanted to 'play in the mud' instead of mingle with the well-to-do high society. Catty hated it. She hated the fancy balls and the extravagant wealth and the blatant lies that flowed like honey past the lips of nearly every person she met.
So she left. She packed up her bags and moved to a city that wasn't under her Fathers control and went to the most local college she could. She was terrified of the changes she saw and the things she suddenly found herself doing. But then she remember why she was doing what she was and stuck her chin up and dug her heels in. She didn't nearly tare her family apart just to go crawling back to them like a shaking puppy. She wasn't cut off from the family funds and her trust fund alone was enough to put everyone on her floor (all 52 of them) in the dorm through their Masters degrees. She was still filthy rich, she still had her pride and determination and she still had her dream of helping people in an honest way that didn't involve the use of tossing money around as one would leaves in fall. And maybe, just maybe, she would achieve her personal dream of living in a small town where everyone knew everyone and there was no such thing as a secret.
Studying to be a Doctor wasn't as hard as she originally thought it would be. Yes there was a lot of technical terms and techniques she had to memorize, but she still had all of her hair by the time Finals had come and gone and she had only one nervous break down. Her roommates were up to their eyeballs in work both school and job wise and never noticed when she kept the fridge stocked with good healthy food and their little three room dorm clean. Both of her boys (as she'd come to call them) were different and both far too busy to argue much. Storm was a working English Major and David was working on his third year of Bioengineering. Catty was in her second year of the medical program when everything clicked. Storm would be her answer! It would take time but she could do it!
It turned out that time was something held very loosely and Catty found herself graduating with her medical degree and a Doctorates before she was able to convince Storm to move away with her. It was a little small town out in the middle of nowhere, perfect for what Catty wanted. She'd done her duty to her family and gotten a respectable degree that she could fall back on whenever, and if she never talked to them again after this, well, good riddance. Maybe all those silly marriage proposals would stop when she fell off the face of the earth.
