Respeh Shati Shai "The Void Snake" Respeh looked at her and smiled "Well that's quite a pleasant question." he said and though " I do rather enjoy reading. Hmm and when it comes to food I'm not really picky, my digestive system allows consumption of everything." he explained "But I do rather have a taste for chocolate oddly enough." he said. He looked at her "And yourself?"

Respeh Shati Shai "The Void Snake" Respeh smiled and looked at her "Interesting choice of flavor my dear." he said and looked at her "Horror stories don't contain the fire they used to in my days but you take what you will now." he said and looked around. He smiled "It appears there another here. How trained are your senses?" he asked the girl with crossed arms.

How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core where I’ve become so numb Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold Until you find it there and lead it back home Wake me up Wake me up inside I can’t wake up Wake me up inside Save me Call my name and save me from the dark Wake me up Bid my blood to run I can’t wake up Before I come undone Save me Save me from the nothing I’ve become
~Raven~
Company: Vivian, Kenji, and Respeh
Raven sighed, blowing her pink bangs out of her eyes as she slowly made her way through the castle. She had been at Trinity Castle for some time, now, and had explored the majority of the grounds. Both inside and out. The castle itself was beautiful and interesting, it had taken her some time to see everything there was to see about it. Even now, she wouldn't be surprised if she had missed some hidden room or something. But, while Raven rather liked the castle itself, she had grown a bit bored of just roaming around. There had been two reasons she had accepted the invitation here; one was to see the castle and see what it was like to have so many different beings under on roof. She hadn't seen anything like that in quite some time, so it had piqued her interest. But now she'd seen it and was over it. There were a few nice people here, but there hadn't been anything really exciting that had happened thus far. Raven liked excitement. She also wasn't one to stay in one place for a long period of time, and she'd already stayed here much longer than she normally would have.
Which brought Raven to the second reason she had accepted the invitation; she wanted a pet. For a very long time, Raven had simply traveled alone, never having a reason to adopt a pet. But as of late, she had gotten a bit lonely, and wanted someone to accompany her on her travels, and help with minor things that might come up. Raven was fully capable of taking care of herself, of course. But she had been around for so long, that she felt no need to prove herself to anyone. Having a little help here and there never hurt. But it was for the companionship more than anything.
But, Raven was picky. She hadn't met any of the pets here that held her interest very much. She didn't really have anything against most of them, but they were all the same. Nothing unique about any of them that caused Raven to want to get to know more about them. Raven wanted someone that was a mystery, someone that kept her guessing. Someone that she wanted to spend more than just a few moments talking to before she grew bored and moved on. She also wanted someone that was calm; Raven herself rarely appeared anything other than calm and laid back, and she didn't really care for people that got all hyped up about something. Someone that had a temper and was fast to fight annoyed the hell out of her, and someone that rambled on and on without stop grated on her nerves. Like that blue haired girl that was running around the castle, Ciara or something. Her purple haired sister was nice and quiet. Sage, maybe was her name? But the blue haired one made Raven want to cover her ears.
But, that being said; Raven also liked someone that was a little feisty. Someone that she could have a little fun with, someone that could get her sense of humor. Raven had a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor that many people took wrong. Someone that actually got it automatically earned quite a few points with the pink haired woman.
She also wanted a pet that wasn't skittish; while Raven understood the reason so many pets were skittish. . . she didn't really have use for one that was going to cower if she raised her voice a little. Although Raven really wasn't one to raise her voice or show any temper. No, Raven was more the sarcastic, dry retort sort of person. She was stubborn and strong willed, she never let anyone get by with something that she felt wasn't right. She hated bullies, and wouldn't let someone try to push her around or control her. But she did hold a grudge, she wasn't the forgiving type, and if someone broke her trust; she never gave it to them again. Especially since earning her trust wasn't an easy task in the first place. Another thing about Raven, was that she wanted someone that was willing to work with her and not fight against her. Raven was -and this was surprising to some- a very nice person. She came off a bit distant, but truthfully she could warm up to someone given the time. She was loyal, and always tried to look out for those that she liked. But, people rarely took the time to talk to Raven. She assumed this was probably because some people misjudged her, some maybe were intimated by her, some probably just didn't like her for one reason or another. But whatever their reasons were; it wasn't her problem. She honestly couldn't care less if someone didn't like her, because if they didn't take the time to know her first, then she wasn't going to waste her time worrying about it.
Shoving those thoughts aside, Raven tried to decide where she wanted to go. She had spent the past few hours outside, randomly roaming the grounds, so she wanted to do something inside. However, there really wasn't anything that seemed to interest her. Her room was very nice, and just as she'd requested. Yet she was feeling a bit restless, and didn't feel like just sitting around up there. The kitchen Raven rarely frequented, considering her 'special died'. While the castle housed many unique creatures and had food for each of them, Raven's own special food was not kept there. Raven had never mentioned this fact, simply because she didn't want to bring about questions of what she was, exactly. While the headmistresses seemed to have quite a bit of information on the guests there; Raven wad proud to say that there was very little information about her. She had always been very careful about what people knew about her. Her true age, her species, her deep, dark secrets. . . were only known to Raven and Raven alone. All anyone else knew about her was simply that she had been around for awhile, had pink hair, and the rest was nothing but rumors and speculations. Raven refused to deny or confirm any rumors about herself, and simply let people talk. What did it matter to her what people thought? She knew the truth, and that was all that mattered. She'd prefer for people to believe false stories than know her secrets.
It wasn't long before Raven got the idea of venturing into the library. Reading was one of Raven's favorite hobbies, she could always find a book that interested her. And while she had been to the library quite a few times during her stay here, there were enough books that she was always able to find something new on the shelves, something that she hadn't noticed the first time. One of the many things that she loved about the library was the large amount of books it held. That, and the fact that they had so many different categories of books, which she highly appreciated because she read. .. well, everything she could get her hands on.
As it would turn out, Raven picked a very interesting moment to enter the library. No sooner than she had stepped through the door, she saw a scene playing out; a very, very pale and unique looking male was walking into a ladder, and then proceeded to try to save the book he'd nearly dropped. Raven didn't even have time to blink as the boy managed to grab the book in time, but then fell on his side on the ground. She cringed just a bit at the sound her overly sensitive ears picked up of his head hitting the ground. That sounded like it might leave a bruise, she thought in her usual dry, sarcastic way.
It wasn't until the other two people in the room spoke that Raven turned her glaze towards them. She tilted her head a little at the two brightly colored people, a female and male. She studied them for a moment, before she turned her attention back towards the odd looking male as he stood up. It was sort of funny in a way, the way that he was so pale, but his cheeks looked bright pink at the moment in comparison. Raven assumed that was probably due to being embarrassed about what had just happened. Raven remained quiet and lingered in the doorway, not drawing any kind of attention to herself as she watched to see what happened next. The boy was keeping his eyes down, but he wasn't completely hanging his head. The fact that he wasn't hanging his head worked in his favor in Raven's eyes, but she was curious why he wasn't making eye contact. Was he always shy? Or was he just embarrassed about what had just happened? It was too soon for her to tell.
As he apologized to them, saying that he didn't mean to interrupt, Raven very silently made her way a bit farther into the room. Silently she noted about the bow that he did, that was something she hadn't seen in awhile. Interesting. She also overheard when he said that he had been caught up in a book, and didn't see the ladder. . . and that it would have been horrid if he'd damaged the book. That caused Raven to arch an eyebrow curiously. There were a lot of people that didn't feel that books were very important, and often mistreated them. Raven herself was always careful with books, so it was nice to see someone else felt the same way about them. As she got a bit closer, she let her eyes trail towards the book, trying to see what the title was. She found it a bit amusing when she saw that it was a book on English Folklore. Why she found that amusing was her own private secret.
"It is always a tragedy to ruin a perfectly good book. Yet a lot of people seem to bend the pages and toss them about without a second thought. It's kinda nice to see not everyone does that," Raven chimed in. By this point, she was standing just a few feet behind the boy. Whether he'd heard her walk up or not, she didn't know, but she had been trying to be quiet in her approach. She glanced once more at the other two people there, giving them just a light nod of her head. Raven's version of a hello. She didn't have anything against the two, she didn't automatically dislike them or anything like that; but she was much more curious about the boy holding the book. Looking back to him, she tilted her head a little, giving a small, half smile. "Sorry for interrupting. It just seemed like as good a time as any to jump in on the conversation," she said, giving a lazy shrug of her shoulders. "I'm Raven, by the way." As she introduced herself, she held her hand out for the boy to take. While this was just the polite way that people introduced themselves, there was a bit more to it when Raven did it; with her, it was a test of sorts. "Are you new here at the castle?" she asked.
Frozen inside without your touch Without your love, darling Only you are the life among the dead All this time I can't believe I couldn't see Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems Got to open my eyes to everything Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul Don't let me die here There must be something more Bring me to life
OOC: Sorry again for the delay! Work has just been so freaking insanely busy lately. I got handed two more stores to do at the last second because the other person walked and they needed someone to cover. -_-
And don't worry about the length at all! I love long posts. =) Also I apologize if there's any errors in this post, I don't have time to look it over and check like I normally do because I need to go bed. . . since I'm getting up in three hours. xD I can edit later if it's needed.

Respeh Shati Shai "The Void Snake" Respeh nodded "Yes it would have. Books are very valuable to me as well but one should not take injuries yourself slightly." he said "Do try to exercise caution in the future and try to protect both if you will." he did truly love books, to the point where he kept another dimension he created filled with them and protected those books when they were out of the dimension not allowing any harm to come to them even if it meant he had to get hurt and to that effect he was a slight hypocrite but he mostly tried to avoid harming either himself or the books. and smiled "But I'm glad you aren't injured." he told him trying not to sound as if he was about to scold him for lack of caution. Then another entered the room but she instantly went for the pale boy. Respeh silently returned her nod with his own. He understood people a little more and knew it wasn't that she didn't like them on first glance but her curiosity in the boy was very obvious.

Vivian 𝕯or Vellin Now, this young asvang may have had terrible eyesight but his senses of sound, smell and taste made up for that. He could actually smell the woman before he could hear or see her. From somewhere to the right and behind him came the smell of something ancient, something powerful. The creature, a woman, was proud and strong. He felt small and humble by comparison but he still kept himself standing straight. When she walked it was with a light-footedness befitting an elf. This was no elf though, not unless it was some ancient elven ancestor who had not yet seen the "light". From her smell alone he felt his insides tighten. Even though he could sense her in the room, the muscles of his back still went tight when a woman behind him spoke up. He had not expected her to approach so fast! It was so soon after he'd fallen! He could only hope standing tall and proper would dissuade any suspicion of fear she might have.
Before Vivian even spoke a word of greeting he steeped to the side and back, allowing her into the growing circle of people. He very much did not like the idea of being the centre of attention, literally at that. He felt himself to be encircled by the people who habituated the hall.
'My lady, I did not see you there. I hope I haven't slighted you,' he said. He didn't want her to feel as though he'd cut her off or blocked her from conversation. He turned to her and smiled. In front of him was a lot of pink, a lot of black and a lot of skin. Unless he were to step closer to her, all he would see would be coloured shaped that seemed to blend together. He could tell her hair had two colours, that there was red somewhere in her clothes and that her bosom was... Good grief! he thought, horrified with himself for noticing how much skin was showing. At that, Vivian flushed and looked straight down at the floor. He did not mean to see them. He actually felt bad for noticing. With blurred sight anything so large and exposed seemed to stand out amongst the confusion of details and colours. Oh dear, he almost felt as though he should apologise.
'Raven, I am called Vivian. I am deeply sorry, I do not see as well as I should,' he explained.
'I have been here less than an hour,' the pale creature replied. He wondered whether it was permissible to return the question. 'What of yourself? Have you found the castle to your liking?'
When Raven held out her hand Vivian paused a moment. Shaking hands was a human tradition but none of the people here were human. Was he supposed to take her hand or kiss it? In his people's tradition, when a woman held out her hand to someone it meant she was offering her friendship. If that man did not accept it in view of others it was taken as a rejection, in some cases even an insult. Vivian took her fingers in his pale hand and turned it palm upward. He bowed to his waist and placed a kiss upon the heel of her palm. He stood up straight again and kept his gaze low. If she was insulted by his actions he would apologise and explain himself. He'd already acted like a cad for seeing her... skin.
The young blonde then turned to the next person who'd spoken to him. It really was surprising how quickly people could appear around oneself. This last person, the male, was a white blur with a darker face. He smelled as old as civilisation itself and of the earth, sand to be precise. There was something predatory about him too. Somehow Vivian knew that scent, not the man's scent as a whole but he recognised a predator when he smelled one. It may or may not have been the man's personality but his blood and flesh smelled like that of a hunter. Vivian glanced at the man but could not tell what it was. He supposed it didn't matter much, so long as he wasn't the man's prey. As such, Vivian smiled at the man and inclined his head. It was kind that the man was concerned for him, even if his words left a sense of foreboding in Vivian's chest. The man was right, of course. He should never have even been walking while reading.
'Be assured, sir, a book is far more likely to be damaged from a fall than I am,' he said, avoiding any possible admittance that injuries did not matter so much to him. He smiled as though something amused him. If it had been the other way, well, I suppose I would still have chosen the book over myself, he thought to himself. He would not say more on the subject. He would prefer if the subject of his fall would pass on to another subject. He saw no reason to apologise for this mistake of sight, for he would not have changed his actions.
Vivian smiled in gratitude when the girl told her story. Though she may not have intended so, she had changed the subject from his own mistakes. It was nice to know he wasn't the only silly fool who lost themselves in the written word. It was sweet of her to say so. In fact, almost everything about her was sweet. Some others of Vivian's kind would wonder if her blood tasted sweet too but Vivian wasn't the type. When she was finished her story he inclined his head in thanks.
'It sounds like an exciting novel,' he said. He spoke a little quieter this time, for he had not been spoken to directly and thus was not expected to speak. He had been a slave for longer than one would expect and certain behaviours were engrained into him. He may have only looked twenty but he had lived for approximately forty-eight years. Somehow it felt pale compared to the two ancients beside them. Their presence alone was humbling.
OOC: Heh heh he. I think I'm going to have fun with his short-sightedness. Light up your face with gladness Hide every trace of sadness
You'll find that life is still worthwhile If you just smile

Respeh Shati Shai "The Void Snake" Respeh listened to Kenji's tale of how she had gotten so lost in a book, so ingrained in its story that she wandered into the street. Respeh was fascinated by the possibility of such a thing happening due to hm often being unable to do so. Many of the tales he read were familiar or often things he's done to some degree and he does wish to relive them most of the time. He smiled "That is a rather interesting way to read. I can see why I found you in the library it does have a good selection of books." Lacy Rose the Cake I apologize. I was waiting to see if Lucretia responded...then I forgot. I tend to do that.

~Raven~
Company: Vivian, Kenji and Respeh
Raven was always careful to watch for people's reactions, so it didn't escape her attention when the pale male that she'd spoken to tensed a bit when she spoke up. She wasn't sure if she had surprised him, or if he just hadn't expected her to speak to him. Although he didn't exactly jump. . . so Raven was actually suspecting that perhaps he had known that she was there after all. She actually liked that, when someone was aware of their surroundings and knew that there was another presence nearby it earned them a few points with Raven. Why? Well, that was simple; Raven felt that it was important to always pay attention to your surroundings because you never knew what might be lurking around behind you. That was how Raven had lasted as long as she had. Although she had found that out the hard way.
Raven arched an eyebrow curiously when the male stepped back and to the side, at first thinking that maybe he was going to try to excuse himself and leave. Raven found that she was disappointed by that, plus she hoped that she hadn't spooked him off or something. There tended to be a few people that got started by Raven for one reason or another. But, he appeared to only be stepping over to the side, although Raven wasn't sure if it was so that she could 'officially' join their little group, or if he were trying to put a little distance between himself and said group. Raven tilted her head a little to the side as he spoke, the fact that he had called her 'my lady' caught her attention, she hadn't been called a 'lady' in quite some time. That automatically made her wonder how old he was. Was he just polite, been ordered to speak that way by previous 'masters', or was he from a time when people actually spoke like that? That definitely piqued her curiosity. She also noticed that his eyes were. . . unique, to say the least. A very, very pale blue/almost white color. Raven had seen a lot of things in her life, but she couldn't recall having ever seen anyone with eyes quite like that. In an odd way, it fit the rest of his appearance; the pale skin and long pale hair. There was also something else about his eyes that caught her attention, it wasn't just the color, but they almost seemed a bit. . . out focus, perhaps? She couldn't quite put her finger on what exactly seemed off about them other than the color.
Although she did notice the direction that he was currently looking. She almost snorted, it seemed almost all males tended to let their eyes wander to the chest area. Granted, Raven knew that she could wear a different, more concealing outfit, but why should she be forced to wear something that she didn't want to, simply because people allowed themselves to get distracted by that? Raven liked her outfit, and often wore shirts like that, she wasn't about to change that just because some people felt that she was showing too much skin. Besides, as her outfit would tell; it wasn't exactly like Raven was shy so it really didn't bother her.
In fact in this case; it seemed to bother him more when he suddenly dropped his eyes drop towards the floor, almost as if he had noticed where he had been looking. Maybe he hadn't done it on purpose after all, so Raven would wait and see if it appeared to have just been an accident. There were several males that she'd came across that had made a point of looking there, but that didn't mean that he was like the rest. Raven never liked to jump to conclusions and always tried to give the benefit of the doubt first before making an opinion of someone. Raven, however, remained quiet, waiting as he introduced himself as Vivian. She made a mental note of the name for later use, although why he was apologizing confused her for a brief moment. Until he said that he didn't see as well as he should. Raven gave a very light nod of her head, that explained what seemed odd about his eyes that she hadn't been able to put her finger on, they weren't quite focused because he didn't have very good eye sight. Maybe that was the reason for the odd coloring of them? Or maybe the odd coloring of them was the reason for the bad eye sight? Whatever the case, it made Raven that much more curious about him. It was unusual to come across a supernatural being that didn't have perfect senses, since that seemed to be part of the 'package deal' for them. And she thought that Vivian was a supernatural being, he certainly didn't scream 'human' to her, anyway. But what his species might have actually been, she wasn't sure.
He also answered her question, saying that he had been there for less than an hour. That explained why she hadn't seen him yet, then. Raven was actually happy to hear that he was new to the castle. When he went on to return the question to her, and ask if she had found the castle to her liking, Raven's lips twitched up into a small smile. The fact that he had asked her earned him a few automatic points in his favor, Raven liked when people asked what was on their mind. It was when they were too timid that she began to lose interest. "I've been here for a few months," she answered. "And yes, I like the castle very well. It's interesting seeing so many different species living under one roof. The last time that I saw so many different species together. . . well, it wasn't exactly in such a peaceful setting. Although I'm not usually one to stay in one place for too long," she admitted. Raven did truly like the castle, but she had been feeling restless lately. . . but that was only because she hadn't yet found what she'd came there for.
It was a general rule of Raven's to always expect anything and everything, that way you were never surprised. So, it was rare for something to catch her off guard. . . yet within just moments after meeting Vivian, he managed to do just that when instead of just shaking her hand, he turned it over and kissed her palm. Raven arched an eyebrow, a brief flicker of surprise reaching her features before she was able to stop it. Raven had been alive back during the ages that men actually did that sort of thing. . . but while she had seen it plenty of times back then, there had never been a man that had greeted her like that. That was for humans, and at the time, women that were submissive and dainty. None of that could be used to describe Raven. Of course, this only added to Raven's curiosity; wad Vivian from that time period? Or was it something more along the lines that it was something that his species did? Raven had no idea what his species might be, but she did know that each species had their own, unique way of acting. Raven's own species wasn't exactly. .. friendly, like that. Raven was considered an abnormality among them. The corners of her lips tugged upward as he straightened. "You're an interesting one, aren't you?" she commented. Raven, of course, meant this in a good way. It wasn't often that she found someone to be interesting, so for her to think that someone was. . . well, it meant that she truly thought they were interesting.
When she heard someone else speaking, Raven's eyes flickered in the direction the voice had came from, spotting the other male that she'd seen a moment ago. Which reminded her. . . Raven tilted her head a little, looking from the male to the other girl that was also there. Studying the two for a moment, Raven stayed quiet while Vivian responded to what the male had said, but her glaze shifted back to Vivian when he spoke, saying that the book was more likely to be damaged in a fall than he was, spotting an almost amused smile that appeared on his face. What did he find so amusing? Hmm, Raven supposed that she must have missed something. Raven however, still remained quiet as the other girl spoke, then Vivian said that it sounded like an exciting novel. Raven thought that the other two seemed nice enough, and she certainly wasn't trying to be rude. . . but she couldn't help the fact that Vivian was the one that she found the most interesting of the trio, nor did she feel guilty over it. She didn't dislike the other two, but when Raven actually found someone interesting. . . well, she tended to want to know more about them.
But, Raven also wasn't about to put Vivian on the spot and begin asking him too many questions at once, especially not in front of the other two. Pursing her lips, she studied Vivian for a moment, then gave a half smile. "You said that you had only been here for less than an hour, correct? Have you had a chance to find your room yet?" she asked, trying to make conversation without being too nosy. Yet, at least. "I've noticed that the owners of the castle are very good at decorating the rooms perfectly to the guest's requests. I'll admit that I was a bit surprised when I saw my room, it was exactly as I'd asked for," she said, giving a lazy shrug of her shoulders. She wasn't shy when it came to telling people what she wanted, but she also wasn't picky, so it had been a pleasant surprise that they had gotten her room so right. Asking about if he had found his room yet was one of the lesser, more boring questions that Raven had in mind, but she decided that she'd wait and ask the others if she got the chance to get Vivian alone.

Respeh Shati Shai "The Void Snake" Respeh sat there for a moment before looking over at Kenji and smiled "I do believe that she'd like to speak with this young man alone. Perhaps we should allow them to speak." he said to her "Now, is there somewhere you would like to go or do you wish to remain in the library far enough so that they may not be heard?" he asked her and waited for her answer.

Ya Zhilan & Justine Aurora
With the ball going on the library was all but vacant. While people were in the ballroom two figures were in the library speaking and readying. One of the figures, a purple haired woman was sitting at a table, writing on a small but ancient slip of paper in Chinese. She did not appear to be happy, not in the least. Her eyes were trained in the book she was reading. She mouthed words but no sound came from her lips. The figure she spoke too grew angry and then concerned all in a matter of seconds. The silent woman stood up and flooded the paper into the book before sending it off into the great unknown. The woman was a phoenix by the name of Ya, a cursed woman who was doomed to die without the love of a pure soul. She was dying slowly now. Her friend had convinced her to put on a dress. a beautiful dress made up of out worldly fabric. It felt close to satin but it felt better. He gloves were of the same material actually but took more time to tailor. In her hair were multiple bows, red and blue and in her hair was her beloved Moon hairpin. She stared at her beloved companion who was still trying to convince her to head to the ball, to find am aster, and prevent her inevitable death without one. Justine paced back and forth, holding ragnarok, a weapon of her own creation in her hands. She had her eye cast to the ground as he footsteps pounded through the library. She looked at Ya who was writing Chinese at the table "Ya! We need to go! How are you gonna find someone to love you if you do-" her friend unleashed a string of phrases that portrayed her distrust of people. Justine sighed "I know. Our last mistress was cruel but you don't have too much time left. " her friends still protested. Justine walked to her friend and watched her stand. She gently placed her hands on her companion shoulder "Ya..look...I'm here for you. I don't wanna lose you. It probably won't take long, please?' she asked. Her friend didn't respond with anything. Justine sighed and sat down "I got dressed up for nothing!" she was rather angry. Her dress was simple cotton, nothing too fancy. She hated dressing up really, she loved armor.

A frown creased the dark-haired female's brow as she wandered along the hallway. This place was nice, yes, but after being here for a month she was still getting lost and stumbling into things! The Head-Mistresses and several of the staff had offered to find her a walking stick when ever they saw her run into something, but Cadence had refused every single time. She was determined to overcome her blinded state without the use of such tools. There were plenty of other beings that didn't need sight to function, so why should she let such a thing become a handicap?
Still, it would have been much easier for her to adjust if this place didn't have so many twists and turns inside it. Finally, her fingers brushed against a doorknob. She grasped it an twisted the knob then pushed the door open then entered and allowed her fingers to trail along once more. After several moments, her fingers brushed against wood. It was a shelf, and on top of it was...books? Wait. She'd gotten lost and ended up in a library? Well, wasn't this hilarious, the blind girl wandered around and ended up in a library of all places!
...And she also didn't know the exact distance she had walked from the door. 'Brilliant Cadence, just brilliant.' The female thought to herself as she turned in the direction she thought the door to be. Really, she should have been paying more attention to her path but Cadence had bee so wrapped up in her thoughts that she hadn't been paying much attention to such a thing. Which was also probably part of why she hadn't learned her way around this place yet.
