Alright guys, as with every guild and role play there are rules. Ours are simple and easy to follow and will keep members from being removed or banned, kay?

1. No spamming. At all, with anything. Spamming results in the immmediate banning from the guild.

2. No offensive behaviour to any members. This includes but is not limited to racism, discrimination, name calling, threats, sexual harassment, etc. Doing this will not only result in banning, but may also be grounds for police involvement.

3. No cybering. You meet, and you wanna do it, use MSN. That's what it's for. The Road to WWE is not a porn studio nor a big comfy bed for Edge. Please, just don't do it. Not all of us want to see it. If you happen to be an exhibitionist, then include the members that want to witness it to the MSN conversation. But not here. Thank you muchly.

4. No God Modding. This, for those of you who do not know, is making your character invincible. Certain allowances are made, so long as the character also has a known weakness. If your character is God Modded, we will move it to the Hall of Shame where it will be on display like a museum artifact. Seriously, do you want that? If you do, you can hang there too. Your little spawn of Satan might want company.

5. No hacking! That's you we're talking about, there! This is for fun, and it's just not nice to do that. If you do, we'll ban you and then you can hack something else.

6. There is no limit on character numbers per user at this time. This is due to lack of members and may be changed in the future. Also anyone who wants to change their character or write them out to make a new one needs to resubmit a new character sheet before the original is written out. This way, loose ends are tied up, and the new character is introduced with a clean start on the member's behalf.

7. Character sheets must be submitted and approved before they are allowed to be used in role play. I anticipate that little to no characters will be rejected, but there is always room for error. So please be sure to fill out the paperwork to the best of your ability. Remember that the more we know, the smoother things go.

8. Make sure to read the game play rules carefully. We cannot stress this enough. And I promise that the reading will come to an end eventually.

9. Any complaints need to be directed to either myself or the rest of the team. If you whine in gameplay or to other members publicly, you may be banned. We will handle everything in a timely fashion, but it ruins it for everyone when you’re whining.

10. As you all know, Gaia has rules of it's own for everyone, right down and including myself, to follow so please be aware that those still must be followed as well.

Overview and Gameplay Rules

The role play in The Road to WWE is an RP dedicated to wrestling fans all over, who find that their home consoles just aren't doing it for them anymore. Seriously, have you TRIED making a storyline in there? IT'S HARD!

~ You may swear NOW AND THEN in gameplay but keep it light. Gaia expects PG-13, and so does John Cena, and I’m not too fond of kicking people out of the guild for not following the host’s orders, mmkay?

~Hokay, now we can get into the character design. You all know by now (hopefully) that you need a character sheet. If not, then you’re either a dumb turd or you stumbled here by some strange occurrence, and if you did, then turn your a** around and go back to the rules page! (see, a grammar lesson!) Anywho, we already stressed that the design sheet must be detailed. If we can’t visualize him/her, then it’s no good.

~Clothing and accessories must be greatly detailed as well. Costume design is a major part of the characters in-ring persona.

~How to write the gameplay. Whether you’re chatting it up with Triple H or hitting him with a hammer of your own, gameplay must be clear and understandable. We shalt give you an example.

Good gameplay;

“Cain and Rinnie were locked in a fierce match. Cain was losing miserably after Rinnie hit her with a moonsault from the top rope. She staggered around aimlessly, hoping for some kind of strategy to hit her, only to feel the very painful impact of Rinnie's legs hitting her instead."
-Taken directly from a match in SVR2010

A bad example is this,

“Cain and Rinnie were fighting. Cain was walking around. Rinnie kicked her."
Just doesn’t look good.

Please make it somewhat nice, kay? Also, Rinnie is that hard to beat. So says Cain, anyway. She still can't win back her championship =P

As well, we have a certain way we need you to do dialogue.

Good dialogue:
"So you enter a cave with only a lighter and look left. There's a bear. Then you look right and see Vin Diesel. Now you're all happy because Vin Diesel's there but you're scared because of the bear." Cain explained.

~Lastly, but not leastly, suggested and approved by Cain, we have a wicked option available. We encourage the bold and daring (and the ones with the most free time) to write in a character journal. Those who want to use their Gaia journals for their character may tell us and we will make a thread with your name and a link to your journal. You may write the goings on of your characters’ day, but please, no describing how you had crazy date-rape sex last night with Otunga.

[Small note, not a rule] When we said that there was to be no badmouthing on the site, we mean when you make it personal, player to player. However, during battle and gameplay, you may insult. But not to the degree of racism and discrimination. That’s never allowed.[[Example: Cain to Rinnie; “You idiot! You broke your table!”]]

So, until we think of some other awesome rules, this is it for now. Thank you for reading, it will make things a lot easier in the creation of the characters. We hope to see you soon in the gameplay and we welcome any comments or suggestions that you have. Just send a message to the admin email, and if you want one of us in particular (Cain or Rinnie), just say which one in the subject line!

Byes~

PROCESSES

First of all, welcome to The Road to WWE. We hope that this guild will be an enjoyment to you, prospective member. This post is simply the processes of what will happen should you choose to join us. We encourage all members to first read the rules page, and to become familiar with them. After that, and before you submit your first character, you should know the goings on.

1. Complete the character sheet fully, with as much attention to detail as possible. Original characters are required, and they may be exsisting OC's from other forums, so long as they belong to you or you have proof of permission to use them here.

2. Submit the character sheet to the admin/captain through pm, and be sure to leave notes of any particulars that may not seem to fit on the generic sheet given. Also, pictures are accepted and encouraged, as long as it's your own work or pictures made for you of your character. Pics are not required but anticipated.

3. Wait for the go ahead message from the team. This should not take long, most likely no more than a day. Once you recieve this message, you are free to enter the world as an active character. Your character will appear in the active section of the site for others to see.

Keep in mind that other members must be able to see all character sheets at any time. This is for the obvious purpose of knowing that there is no unfairness in our character approval. If this option of viewing is abused in the sense that someone tries to copy a character closely, then it results in the banning of the offender.

4. Now, you have your first character. Remember that you may have 5 characters as of now. Please read the rules for more info on this.

5. Characters do have the ability to change, and we acknowledge that. However, if you are changing anything about your character, we must be notified so we can update the character sheets. Changes must be legal under our rules. This also applies to written out characters. We must know ahead of time. If we see that you wrote out a past character and introduced a new one before we were notified or could make the necessary changes, your character will be suspended. This also applies if you are going to quit the guild. We must be notified so the proper course of action may be taken. Leaving loose ends untied is not something we like..

If you have any questions, comments or concerns, feel free to contact us.
