Sorry to do the gravedigging but I just got back from the Amityville remake. It sucked utterly and completely. They even screwed up on the construction of the house. The only good thing was the fact that Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder) was the new version of George and he was damn good looking in it. As was Melissa George (who portrays the late Kathy Lutz). Although to me it seemed like another excuse to make a movie with a dead girl who has blue skin and stringy perpetually wet black hair. See the original if you're going to see a movie on it, this is not worth it.

I'm very scared of horror movies, and even though everyone says it sucked, I was terrified of The Grudge gonk The scaryest part was the dead japanies womans eyes *shudder* over all, the movie sucked but it was the scare factor that made it good in my mind 3nodding
