Conniving: Through the many years of being raised by the Duke and his wife, Lottie fell into step with them and the life style they lived. She soon came to believe it was her own. She became the Duke and Duchess's daughter, and as she grew raised by them her personality became molded.
She was never nice, just for the sake of being nice. She would get something out of it, Lottie would always have an ulterior motive. Everything she did was for herself, or so she thought, for herself. Lottie was a puppet for the Duke and Duchess.
Spoiled: To help ensure that Lottie would forget about her past, the Duke and Duchess bought many things for their 'child'. She was given so many things that it's almost all that Lottie knew. Items, trinkets... But no real physical love or emotions. As Lottie grew she just expected to get what she wanted. She never had to deal with jealousy, or anger, not even true happiness because she didn't remember what it was. She hadn't been happy in her heart since the night her parents were killed.
Hard working: Regardless what it is Lottie is working on something good or bad. She works hard, she never does anything half asked. Because of her Duke and Duchess she has the financial support to do elaborate tricks and shows. And even later on in her life when she tries to do good things she'll work even with sweat on her brow. She does not give up defeat, quitting, it not an option.
Capable: Regardless of Lottie's current standing and rather aggressive and exacting personality. She is a very capable young lady. She unless she asks for it, she doesn't like help. Even if she isn't a mononoke like her brother she still considers herself as strong and powerful. Even though it's in darker way, she will not yield.
Intelligent: Lottie's bite and just as bad as her bark. Lottie loves to learn, she wants to learn so much because it only helps her. Even if she is self serving, Lottie feels that you should know what you're talking about so even if she doesn't start the 'debate' she will finish it. Knowledge is the power before her calculating ways. And not all knowledge is found in a text book.
