it just shows that nascar is bias to popular teams. they probably feel that the crew chief suspension is enough

I'm shocked that the 48 wasn't docked any points. NASCAR blew it on this call. It seems to me that the penalty for the 96 was far more severe than the penalty for the 48. I don't like the message this sends.

I was not satisfied with the penatly given by Nascar to Chad Knaus. It was a blatant attempt to cheat, he raised the window. They have given worse penalties for smaller crimes before. It makes me mad, especially since Knaus had a problem last year as well after Las Vegas and Dover.

It just goes to show you that if you're one of NASCAR's marquee teams, they'll give you marquee protection.
Sorta makes you wonder why Junior was docked 25 points for saying "s**t" when he didn't have an illegal part, although I guess at the time I can understand the situation.

those 25 points that they took from junior is what lost him the championship, i think that screwed up his momentum.

John Darby said that the reason the 48 wasn't docked points was because that Nascar didn't have any illegal parts to confiscate. Yet last night on his XM radio show, Jimmie Johnson said that they had to change out the rear window because of the mechanism that raised it. Couldn't of Nascar confiscated that? It seem awful fishy to me.
