Appearance Description: Simon has to loves macabre and all things that terrify, so he tends to look like a monster out of a horror movie. His piercing yellow eyes and his bat-s**t crazy grin is enough to send chills down any spine. The only thing worse is his scowl. In class and around the school, he always wears a white apron that reads in bold red letters, “Kiss the Cook,” sometimes even with blood splattered across it after butchering some meat. But, outside of class and around those he’s more familiar with, he seems like a completely different person, dressing more casually and not looking like he wants to bite someone’s head off.
Personality: Sadistic. He loves to hear people scream and watch them cower, whether they’re his students, other teachers, or complete strangers. He also has a talent of guessing people’s fears, and of course, he uses that to his advantage. He isn’t all bad though. He has a place in his black heart for cooking, some cute critters, and even secretly cares a lot about the well-being of his students. He seems to form an attachment specifically to students who fear him most, which only causes them to be tormented even more. When it comes to being honest or romance in any form, he shows his shy side that he prefers to hide from students.
Bio: Life was difficult for Simon as a Nightmare, having to balance scaring as many people as he could while working towards his life goals. On a whim, he followed in his father’s footsteps and became a chef, falling in love with it in the process. At one point, he opened his own restaurant. It was incredibly successful thanks to its gimmick of having a horror theme [and that also helped him feed on customers’ fear]. All the waiters and waitresses had their mouths stitched into forced grins, the lighting was dark and eerie, and Simon put some very unusual and sometimes disturbing choices on the menu. After running the restaurant for several years, he decided to put it on the backburner so he could go teach, figuring students would be more fun to scare.
Skills and Abilities: - Paralyzation: If one is caught by Simon when they are either asleep or unconscious, he can prevent them from moving anything but their mouth, only allowing them to scream.
- Shadow Transportation: Simon can sink into the ground as a shadow and emerge elsewhere. The shadow he forms into on the ground is clearly seen in the light, but if he hides under another shadow, he is completely invisible.
- Shapeshifting: Simon only has two forms he can change into: his human form and demon form. When he shifts into his demon form, he turns into a large, horrifying creature that reflects the fears of whoever looks at him. The only problem is that, even though his demon form is so huge and frightening, he is attached to the ground and cannot move until he changes back into his human form.

Appearance Description: Markus has very strange golden eyes, the pupils being a horizontal rectangle shape, much like a goat’s. His fluffy red hair is kept neat and tidy at all times, always being sure to make good first impressions. His facial features, such as his nose and chin, are sharp, giving him a very serpentine look. The tops of his hands and feet are covered in reptile-like red scales and the ends of his fingers curl into black claws. It almost seems as if he has a separate outfit for each and every day of the year, since one day he’ll be wearing something normal, such as jeans and a T-shirt, and others he’ll wear something Victorian-like, frills and all. He works out and it shows through a few muscles, but he is by no means buff. His most notable features (besides his eyes and hands of course) are the two ram horns that curl around the sides of his head, a forked tongue that he often flickers out often, and his razor-sharp teeth.
Personality: Markus’s personality is unlike any other. He does not suffer from Multi-Personality Disorder, yet every day he acts like a completely different person. That is because every day, he acts as if he were a character from a story he's read. Some days he’ll be brash and lovelorn Romeo, and others he’d be the vengeful and insane Benjamin Barker. His true personality only comes to the surface in rare situations. Every once in a while, Markus will act like a fictional character, but he has mostly abandoned that silly behavior. After becoming a little more socially involved, he shows more of his own personality, but still dresses in unusual clothing. He truthfully is very serious with almost no sense of humor whatsoever, unless it comes to the misfortune of others. He finds that rather amusing. He does what he wants to get what he wants, and that’s final. He’s very self-centered, and the only time he would even think of helping another person was if it somehow benefited him.
Bio: Being “royal and pure dragons,” or so his father said, Markus was raised very strictly, almost to the point that he had no childhood. He was always expected to represent the family name with honor and dignity, even though all he wanted was to have a little fun. His parents kept him busy every hour of the day with dance lessons, piano lessons, etiquette lessons, lessons, lessons, and more lessons. His only escape would be that half-an-hour he got before bedtime to read his collection of Shakespearean stories. He was captivated by the beauty of his words and wanted to read more stories like his. That’s when his obsession with the art of theatre began.
When he had barely turned 8, his parents discovered that he was skipping lessons to run to the library, so they cracked down on him with rules so that he would have absolutely no freedom at all. What happened the week afterwards is still a mystery to authorities, but the entire building had burned down and only Markus had made it out alive. His parents’ bodies were missing. The rest of his family was unwilling to take in “such an unruly child,” so he was sent to an orphanage. Because of the manners he learned from his lessons and a fake smile, he was soon picked up by a family who wanted him.
He certainly didn’t want them though. They already had seven other children, and they neglected them all, including Markus. They were merely given enough food to live, water, and shelter. No love at all. This is when he picked up his habit of mimicking his favorite characters from many different forms of literature. It certainly earned him much-needed attention outside of home and at school. Eventually, at the age of 13, he moved out to live in the dorms of a private school, using his inheritance money to pay the expenses.
He was frequently mocked at this school for the way he dressed, his odd reptilian looks, and how he acted, but he didn’t care. He focused entirely on his studies of the English and Latin languages, his acting skills of course, and various sports, figuring he would need at least an adequate build in order to get decent roles. When the bullying from his peers became a bit too much to handle, he discovered a school that claimed to be accepting and tolerating to all. Though he knew it meant mainly race, it was still an offer he couldn’t refuse.
Skills and Abilities:
- Acting: He’s pretty damn good at it.
- Athletic: He’s a fast runner, he can do backflips, and he can swim across a pool like a rocket. Just be careful when he swims nearby, because the entire place will be filled with steam.
- Knows a lot of Latin: He took a class in the private school and studied A LOT on his own.
- Fire Breath: Hardly a puff though. He doesn’t really practice it.
- Senses Body Heat: It’s useful, but at the same time, debilitating since his vision is extremely poor.
- Resistance to Fire: He's not completely immune, but it would take a LONG time and HOT temperatures to burn his skin.

Appearance Description: Rose looks like your typical blond pretty-boy, blue eyes, handsome face, great body, and all. Well, that’s just what he looks like when he alters people’s perception of him. He isn’t really too great looking, having shaggy black hair that gets in the way of his even blacker eyes. His face still shows signs of bruises and gashes from the torture he’s been through in the past. In fact, several of his teeth are fake and his jaw had to be repaired twice. Even ignoring all of his scars, he has a very rough look about him that makes him incredibly intimidating to look at. The only thing that stays the same between how he really looks and the altered perception are the two steel cufflinks on his wrists, each with a bolt sticking out of them, labeling him as an incubus for all to see.
Personality: One could say that Rose is a pervert very bold and adventurous. Ever since he was young, he has been extremely rebellious, almost to the point that he did the opposite of what everyone said. He can be very defiant when it matters, but most of the time he’s laid back and amusing annoying to be around. He likes to be in a group at all times [as long as it’s all male, of course] and is a failure of a flirt, which either draws people to him or pushes them away. He has two big problems with relationships though. Back in Middle School, he formed a crippling fear of women to the point that he’s prone to passing out or feeling nauseous if a female gets too close for comfort. And the second problem is that he tends to attach himself to one person and chase after them without giving up, no matter if they don’t feel the same way in return, dislike him, or even hate him. He can be very lustful at times thanks to being an incubus, but he tries his best not to, preferring love over lust.
Bio: Rose isn’t exactly a normal high school student. He was born and raised by an underground mob boss (who also happened to be a very powerful demon), and it wasn’t cool like in the movies. His father always treated him like garbage, no matter what he did. For the longest time, Rose forgave him and always answered him with respect; at least until he found out his father killed his mother because she birthed him a “weak and pathetic demon child.” After that, Rose became furious and refused to listen to a word he said. His rebellious attitude and his family’s ties to drug and weapon smuggling brought him into the wrong crowd. It was only when he met his first love in Middle School did he steer back onto the right track.
Somehow, his girlfriend managed to get him to quit his drug addiction and tried to break off his ties with his family. That only lasted about a year when his incubus instincts took control. She never spoke to him again after that night.
Some days afterwards, he woke up with an aching head in the middle of nowhere. A crowd of young women dressed in very dark, tribal looking clothes circled around him like it were some sort of ritual. The events that took place there were too graphic and disturbing to describe, but after he managed to escape from the anti-demon female cult, he was stuck in a hospital bed for three months, and recovered at home for a few more. His scars and limp may never fade. He tried going to school afterwards, but as soon as he entered the classroom and saw all the girls in the class, he passed out. He was homeschooled for a long time after that.
Back even before he was with his girlfriend, he was questioning his sexuality [he claimed to be bisexual back then], and after being scared to hell and back by women, he decided it was time to come out of the closet to his father. Of course, being a very traditional demon, he didn’t approve of having an incubus son that was gay, let alone seeing all the other imperfections about him. Fed up with his “failure of a son,” he kicked him out onto the streets. Rose soon learned of Rosentale and went straight there so he could have a place to stay and finish his education so he could support himself.
Skills and Abilities:
- Entering and Altering Dreams: Since Rose tries to be as little demon-like as possible, he never uses this ability the way it was intended to be used. The only time he uses it if he wants to give someone who needs it a pleasant dream.
- Altering Visual Perception: Incubi are naturally hideous creatures, but to help them seduce their victims, they are able to make themselves appear beautiful or handsome to others. This ability occurs subconsciously and only stops when Rose is asleep or unconscious.
- Gender Switching: Can do it, never will. Too much manly pride to be female.
- Draining Life Force: Having sex with an incubus will make you ill. Enough times, and you’ll die. Enough said.
- Information Gathering: This is one of the only skills Rose has ever formed in his life. Given only an hour, through a combination of spying and the internet, he could find out a person’s entire life story and more. He does this whenever he forms a new crush. Yes, he’s a creepy stalkerface.
- Lock Picking: ... Dunno why I didn't have this before. A skill he acquired from his years of stalking
- Speaks Fluent French: It was his first language, but he’s starting to forget a lot because he’s been speaking English so long.

Appearance description: Ian has a lanky humanoid build and is about 6’2”. His skin is leathery and a dark brownish grey color, and he often smells of blood and rotten corpses. His hands (and feet) are shaped like large claws that stretch out to about half a foot long. He always wears suits, ties, and glasses, making him a lot less scary looking.
Personality: Ian is actually somewhat kind to others despite his frightening appearance. He is often polite and compliments everyone around him, as long as they stay on his good side. He often laughs at the dumbest things, and when he starts laughing, it’s difficult for him to stop. Though he acts cheerful, he’s simply hiding his greedy motives and his overall gloomy personality. As soon as someone insults him in some way, he loses his pleasant attitude and reverts to his usual grouchy self. He doesn’t truly care much about others at all, but he sucks up to them so he could eventually take everything they have, be it money, blood, their families, or other such things. Occasionally he feels a little sympathy for someone, but it’s very rare.
Bio: The only things Ian remembers from his past lives is his name and his business strategies. Since the beginning of his latest life, he had been hanging out in an abandoned hospital on the outskirts of a small town, where a desert opens up. He dealt in underhanded and illegal things, such as selling and trapping various creatures as slaves or for anything valuable on them, such as their horns, tails, wings, or skins. While looking for an easy place to snatch up victims, he found out about a school called Rosentale that accepts all sorts of creatures. Of course, he was drawn there in an instant. Somehow, he managed to worm his way into the school despite his illegal activities.
Skills and Abilities:
- Transformation: His appearance changes depending on whose corpse he eats. This illusion is broken when he wills it to be, but he can't turn back into that person after breaking the spell.
- Manipulation: He likes to get on peoples’ good side to use them to his advantage.
- Curses: DO NOT SIGN HIS CONTRACTS. He has the ability to put severe curses on people that could kill or harm them and others greatly. The only restriction is they have to have signed an agreement, but he is a master at making and taking advantage of loopholes, so beware.
- Regeneration and Reincarnation: Can regenerate quicker than average (small cuts take about an hour, gashes a couple days, broken bones a couple weeks, life-threatening injuries a month) as long as he’s not decapitated or burned alive. Every time he dies, he is reborn. The cycle will only end when someone guesses his original name correctly then kills him.
- Strong Sense of Smell: You don’t need to be dead for him to smell you a mile away.

Appearance Description: Malade has thick black hair that usually looks fairly unkept and messy, only feeling the need to really tame it for special occasions. As a result, it has a tendency to get in the way of his sight, but he has gotten used to that. He has bull horns that stick out from either side of his head, and though they are much smaller than real bull horns, they sometimes get caught on things. His eyes are the same jet black color as his hair, his pupils glowing red whenever he is really upset, which is rare to see. He has a fairly pale complexion due to his breathing complications and from staying indoors a lot. Around his neck is a tattoo of black thorned vines running around a few times and down his back into a bright red rose between his shoulder blades, which he covers with his clothes and a red choker necklace. He appears to have a disturbingly thin build since he doesn’t exercise or eat much, but is still self-conscious about his appearance.
Personality: Malade is one arrogant guy with hardly any morals at all thanks to his crazy mother’s antics. He tends to act as though there are no rules that can pull him down and he often feels that he’s superior to everyone else. It is easy to pull him down from his perch though, with a quick insult. When that happens, he tends to react in one of two ways: instant fist fight or goes to mope in a corner. Despite his cockiness, he is very social and will try to get to know everyone he can, whether they like him or not. In fact, he tends to hang around people who dislike him more often just to toy with them. He has a tendency to either think out loud or simply let others hear his thoughts, which usually gets him into a lot of trouble. He doesn’t mean any harm with those thoughts, but they can be brutally honest. He is a bit of a pervert but, unlike his cousin, he always waits until the right time to strike. He is also extremely competitive and he plays dirty, so don’t get into any sort of competition with him. You will lose, even if he has to break your legs.
Bio: His father is a timid masochistic human while his mother is a crazy sadistic demon. Not a normal place for a child to grow up, especially when his only other option was his evil crime boss uncle. Because of his hatred towards his weak human father, he looked up to his uncle as a fatherly figure and willingly got involved with gang violence and such. Eventually, his uncle practically took him in as his son after Rose was kicked out, and he enjoyed every moment of it. After all, he hated his cousin for being so unappreciative of his demonic nature and his family. So, being his replacement was very satisfying. At least until his new ‘father’ decided to force him to finish his education. He obviously wasn’t too keen on that, so every school he went to, he caused plenty of chaos so he would be kicked out. Rosentale just happened to be the next school on the list.
Skills and Abilities:
- Possession: Though it is possible, it’s very rare for him to actually succeed in possessing someone. It is nearly impossible for him to overcome someone else’s will, so if he does manage to take over, it would only be because they were asleep, unconscious, or allowed him to. But, even if he does manage to take over, it only lasts for a minute or two because it’s so exhausting.
- Telepathy: No, he cannot read minds. It’s actually the exact opposite. He can put his thoughts into other’s heads. In fact, the ability is really just preventing his telepathy, because unless he focuses on it, his thoughts are willingly shared with everyone around him. A few people are gullible enough to think it’s their own thoughts, while most others can easily catch on that it's someone else's thoughts. He only uses this ability to tease people or by complete accident.
- Great Aim: Whether it’s firing a weapon or throwing something, he has good aim. As long as he isn’t distracted, that is.
- Street Smart: He surprisingly has a lot of common sense. He just rarely uses it.
- Speaks Some French: Not too great at it, but good enough.

Appearance description: Samael always has a stern look on his face, and his posture and everything about the way he acts and moves is always rigid and austere. His foggy blue eyes are always narrowed as if he were staring someone down for doing something he didn’t approve of. It is nigh impossible to make him laugh, let alone smile at anything or anyone. He always keeps his strawberry blond hair well-groomed and in a neat ponytail and his clothes make him look even more stuck-up, always being pressed and formal. He stands at 6’0” exactly, but tends to wear shoes with a bit of heel to them to make him a bit closer to 6’1”. Yes, he has wings, and to his disappointment, they are not retractable, so he has a hard time getting his clothes over them. He usually has to have slits cut into the back of his shirts so they can fit through, but it’s still difficult because they’re bruised and battered.
Personality: Samael is serious and hates any sort of silliness and nonsense. Things always need to make sense and be perfect, and if not, then he will perfect it no matter the cost. Though he often preaches about and has a firm belief in equality, he has a tendency to talk down to others and treat them like dirt. He is also extremely determined, and when he sets a goal for himself, he will be absolutely ruthless until he meets it. At times, he can have a bit of a temper, but he usually has enough self control not to directly harm someone. He will indirectly if he must though.
Bio: Believe it or not, Samael was a mostly good angel, despite his radical beliefs on equality. Being the strict guy that he was, he quickly climbed the ranks in God’s army, but never abused his power. The most he ever did was preach to those under him about how angels should relinquish their wings and status in order to be equal to humans. Of course, many disagreed, but it was a silent disagreement, not wanting start a huge fight over it. But a fight couldn't be avoided forever. Eventually, someone decided to speak up against him, claiming that he was a traitor and was trying to trick them. He tried his best to convince them otherwise, but the riled up group decided they had had enough of his pointless words. And so, they personally threw him right out of Heaven, without bothering to get the permission of a higher up. As with most fallen angels, his wings lost function and he landed on them rather painfully.
At first, he panicked, having no clue what to do or where to go since it was his first time on Earth, but it didn’t take long for him to adapt. As he was searching for a job, he heard that Rosentale was in need of some staff. At first, he didn’t want to work in some filthy school, but he eventually came across the rumors of its tolerance and acceptance to all living and nonliving creatures. It was the first step of his goal sitting right in front of him, so he just couldn’t resist the draw of such a school. So, he took on the wordy position of “ Administrator of Student Discipline,” sure that he could straighten up the entire school and conform them to his idea of equality.
Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled Orator: Or so he says. But really, all he does is rant until everyone else gives up.
- Healing/Injury: He can heal large, non-fatal wounds instantaneously, but it comes at a price. Not only is it exhausting, but he receives the very injury he healed. Of course, he could always transfer the injury to someone else, but he will still feel the pain of the wound until it has healed on the other person. If the person dies before the injury has healed, then he will feel it for all eternity.
- Immortal: Will never age, but is perfectly killable by normal means.
- Archery: He's nowhere near perfect, but he can still hit a few bulls-eyes thanks to his training up in Heaven.

Appearance Description: William greatly resembles his older brother, with the characteristic golden goat-like eyes and red hair of his previous species. Two small horns poke out from under his messy hair, and all of his teeth are sharpened to a point. What really sets him apart from his brother is the often cheerful outlook he has and how often he smiles. He has a few scales spotted over the back of his hand, and his fingers end in black claws, which confuses him greatly because they look so different from normal human hands. He is partially transparent and has a strange glow around him at all times, making it obvious by even a quick glance that he isn’t alive anymore. He would stand at 5'6" if his feet could touch the floor and has a very scrawny build.
Personality: William has always been very curious since he has much more interest in learning about others than himself. But, he has gotten into the habit of watching people from a distance instead of going up to talk to them. That doesn’t mean he’s timid at all, because as soon as someone approaches him, he’s all over them. Asking questions (personal or not), following them around like a shadow, and telling them lies to purposely provoke them, he just wants to find out everything about others. He hasn’t matured much over the years, so he always lets himself be much too trusting, and gets emotional if someone breaks that trust. When someone gets on his bad side, instead of confronting them, whenever they’re nearby he simply hides from them and mopes, almost no amount of consoling able to cheer him up. The only thing that can make him happy again in that situation is if the person in question leaves or makes it up to him.
Bio: William has absolutely no memories from his past, but he feels no need to learn more about himself. Instead, he makes up stories about his life and how he died, mostly just to entertain himself and others. He tends to either make things up or rip off various myths to use as his life story, but his favorite to tell is the tale of Will-o’-the-wisp, hence why he picked William as his name.
But his real life story isn’t very long anyway. His life started in a little egg shell, and ended in it, for he was stomped on by his older brother before he could even be hatched. After his death, he wandered around alone for years, learning how to live [or not] on his own.
Once he reached what he thought was the right age [he had difficulty keeping track of the years that went by], he began to haunt various schools to learn, but quickly got more and more depressed by the fact that people didn’t really like being around him and that his ‘life’ was pretty much pointless. After a lot of moping and wandering, he discovered Rosentale Academy and figured it would be the perfect place for him to make friends without them being freaked out by the fact that he was dead.

- Phasing Through: He can pass through objects and people (in fact, he can’t touch them at all).
- Controlling Light: He can create light in orbs, flashes, or can even write in the air with it, but to do so, he has to absorb light from flashlights, lightbulbs, TV screens, cellphones, and other such things. Sometimes he does this by accident, ending up draining the batteries of whatever electronic devices he happens to be around.
