Luci was a friendly sort. She tended to be a bit naive about most things in life, but she was friendly. She'd never had a mean bone in her body. Or at least, that's what momma always told her. She was inclined to agree, though.
The mud pits were big enough for multiple lions, and so she felt no ill will towards the lioness that was walking closer. She noticed she was younger, though that wasn't really hard to tell. She was smaller, and Luci remembered when she had been that young. Though she was still remarkably small for an adult lioness, anyway.
Even relaxing, Luci felt that need to speak. That driving desire to be social and lean about the other. She cuoldnt help herself.
"Hello!" She said joyfully, her voice light and friendly.

Morska'Zelena focused most of her attention on Luci, reserving a small percentage for the dark swamps around them. You never knew when something, or someone for that matter, odd would pop out at you, and Morska'Zelena wasn't sure how she felt about those surprises yet. As a cub, she had taken them in stride, but on her journey - well, caution was embedded in her habits now.
Smiling at the older lioness, she nodded at greeting to Luciernaga, Luci. Morska'Zelena paused before giving her name, still not a hundred percent used to being called by it as of yet, though she did love it so. The way it sounded when called by a friend or family member. The way Erlendr had said it. No, she was not going there. Not again and most definitely not tonight.
"My name is Morska'Zelena," she offered to Luci, and then a moment of panic that she didn't know how to address. Luci had offered a shorter form of her name, but Morska'Zelena didn't have one, unless her mother was impatient and slightly aggravated at the precise moment she needed Morska'Zelena, then she was Zea, but she really did prefer her name. Her full name. How did she address that? In the end Morska'Zelena didn't offer more than that, growing exhausted by her own concerns. "It is very nice to meet you, Luci."
