$100 to broadcast a message to a bunch of people that don't give a damn that you virtually married another person in TF2.
Yet tons of them have already been bought... What has the world come too?
If someone wants to spend $100 to "marry" me in TF2, go ahead. I'll give you a profit from my store and cook you one meal a day.

It's the man's duty to buy the wedding ring and the woman's duty to provide food at the reception. If you buy me the ring, I'll cook you a meal. But only one. I wouldn't be some subservient Skyrim wife.

I wouldn't be some subservient Skyrim wife. I can't afford a house, let alone a ring. Which is why I'm stuck standing in the rain forever. xp
Anyways, $100 can net you some unusuals. Whether you buy some off of someone or you unbox yourself. Maybe if you got more from the ring instead of a message announced to the community, then it would be worth while. I mean ALOT more.
Most of the people buying them are just making joke messages, as many have posted on SPUF (the Anne Frank and Hitler one most common). If someone ACTUALLY bought the ring for a LEGIT declaration of love, then that is a different story....as long as they have a real ring to back it up xd

Ghost Pancakes Wow, people ACTUALLY bought those? xD Yup, when I checked SPUF the day it came out, there were plenty of threads with screenshots of all the announcements. I believe it was about 50 of them at the time.
Valve got away with charging $100 for the Japan Charity hat because it went to a good cause. But $100 for this crap? Is ridiculous.
Not bashing anyone who actually bought it though, just questioning them for such an action.
