I'm Judas/Jude, 33. Los Angeles based. Been going to conventions since Anime Expo of 2009, went to it annually til 2019 and then stopped post-Covid bc it's way too busy. I tend to go to smaller, one to two day cons now. Favorite anime/manga are Fullmetal Alchemist, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Chainsaw Man. Been cosplaying since 2011; I either have friends sew for me or I buy and modify clothing. My drive to cosplay has been dying down though, and really only dress up one day out of the entire convention weekend.
Outside of cons, I like roleplaying, video games, and spend most of my time doing schoolwork to advance my job prospects in my field (animal health).

BTW FMA is the Goat, but based on the other ones you mentioned have to tried Dandadan yet? I'm watching it right now and it's kind of addicting. In your questionnaire you said you were 33. That makes us fairly close in age, but I'm older.

Hey, everyone!
I'm not exactly new here but have been away from Gaia for YEARS! IRL, I'm a freelance copywriter and have a contract writing about video games and anime. One of my current articles brought me back poking around Gaia and, while I was already here, I figured I'd pop in to say hi!
While I still go by xinitia on Gaia (a throwback to high school), these days most people know me by either Wysiwyg Visions or Mistborn.Silver.
I'm not sure how long I'll be active on Gaia, since my schedule is pretty crazy, but I'll stick around for a while and talk shop.
So, for those who don't know me (which is probably most of you), I'm based on the West Coast and have been cosplaying since 2006. I've won my share of awards and now just goof around in fun cosplays with my friends. Here are a couple of my recent cosplays:

Hi ninja I'm just around here once in a while.
Been going to anime conventions since roughly mid-oos, still going to support most local events. I remember when Gaia Online had a booth at an event here at least once. Also used to cosplay but stopped in 2012.
I've loved anime and manga from the furthest of my memories, and it's hard to pick a single favourite. One of the fondest series in my memory is Jigoku Sensei Nube. It's getting revived with a remake this year so that's one of the series I'm most hyped to see again. Supernatural stuff, so if you enjoyed recent stuff like Dandadan you might enjoy Nube.
