I was meditiating last nite trying to figure out what my past life was and i got a face of bast the egyptian cat goddess what does it mean?

Umm don't know... what does cats mean to you? Look at it from a symbolic aspect... I love Baast. Nice protector of women... speaking of which me and her have gotta have a talk...

Heh, egyptian dieties are very interesting ones. They each individually seem to represent a concept as opposed to an element or force of nature. Yes, Baast is a defender of women and if you look at it that way it could very well be a warning not to harm a woman in the near future. Then again, you could be forewarned to protect one in her name.
I cannot truely say since I have a bit of a problem with divinity...such as...believing in it. But for the sake of arguement, saying that I did, then that is what I would see. Ivy is correct in saying that it is up to you. I personally love cats...lol so it would just make my day if anything else.

if you were looking on your past lives, then it could be a few things. I think that it means you were either cruel to woman (lets hope not), protected them, or were a cat. 4laugh
and then, you have to look at it symboliclly in the concept of your life. It could very well be something entirely different.
