Her first performances of the year, mere minutes away and here she was rushing about like a panzer cub with its head cut off! "Not good..." Came a rather sour sigh as the Violinist scoured the hotel room, tossing things this way and that in hopes of finding the precious, black violin case. How, how could she lose that of all things? Where was it! Nowhere in this room certainly, Terri hissed mentally before flopping on the bed and placing the palms of her hands over her face to hide in shame. Terri knew she was a little messy but this was pushing ridiculous..

She did not misplace that! Couldn't have...?

"Terri! You've got to go now or you will be late!" Came the shout from her agent, John. He was a firearm like herself, a nice guy..sweet guy if a little odd. The door to the room swung open after a knock and Terri met the violet eyes of her agent through the cracks between her fingers. "Where's the backup?.." Terri asked the annoyance clear in her tone, she would not be late, would not let her fans down! Which meant in short, she needed the backup, not the most pleasing option but ..it was the most logical. John's face twisted in a look of confusion for a moment before the other firearm busted out in a friendly laughter and reached just out of view of the door.

Taking a moment before pulling in the black case that was hidden just outside the door into view and asking teasingly "why the backup? Please tell me you didn't spend all this time looking for her?" At the sight of the case Terri had leaped from the bed and grabbed it up, clutching it tightly to her chest in an affectionate hug. A new ring of confidence breaking out, swirling around her now as she held it in her hands, replacing the previous drab air, in all but a wink of an eye.

"Lets go! " Terri yelled back to the grinning male in the entrance, already on her way out to the mode of transportation he had drummed up for them. Thank goodness it hadn't taken more than a few moment to arrive, after being ushered to the back of the make shift stage Terri drew in a deep breath of flowery air, positioning herself center stage behind the curtain. Getting settled in by pushing the shoulder strap of her asset around, the m16 resting behind her mostly from view now. Mostly, thanks to the fanned out ruffles of the dress she was wearing. It's long frilly layers of black and beige worked well with her off peach toned skin, the design was not over the top but eye-catching enough to still remain respectable and professional, yet attractive.

Shutting her eyes, as the voice of the announcer came over the mic in front of the curtain, Terri took a moment to relax, a moment to ready herself. She had to play and it had to be amazing, she needed their attention to not be on the beautiful oriental garden around them but on her, on her and the sweet sound her bow would create.

The challenge of it was so thrilling..

The rush it would bring to out do the beauty....now that would be breathtaking to her. A soft smile flickered to life as the voice of the man introducing her died down. Almost as if on time with the swing of the curtain, focused, fierce cyan eyes snapped open and like a well oiled machine Terri's arm drew up her bow and with one elegant swipe of the strings the garden was alive...with the sound of music.

It was an easier job Isolde figured. Just someone prominent is wanting to go see some violinist. Easy enough right? Isolde had looked at blue prints of the hall, it was a rather impressive building actually with a Asian themed garden inside. The acoustics would be wonderful, if Isolde was into that kind of thing. But even if it was considered to be an easier job Isolde would never slack off. Her asset was polished and she had its strap over her shoulder when the transportation arrived. Stepping out in front of the hall making sure she didn't trample the flowers with a fair amount of people filing in. Waiting for her client to get out, Isolde shadowed the man, they were able to go right in, and Isolde took the lead going up the stairs to the balcony, surpassing the waiting lines of people. And away from the ground level gardens.

With early admittance Isolde was able to clear the balcony that the client had booked. With the door locked behind them, and the curtains pulled back, Isolde was able to see the whole hall from there, and down to her right was the stage. The other seats were not filling rather quickly, and the noise level rose. Scratching her cheek Isolde stepped back behind her client. Now the lights dimmed and the Master of Ceremonies had announced the evening’s entertainment. A young woman named Terri, Isolde didn’t hold much of an opinion since she had never seen or heard of this girl before. But she seemed young, maybe she was a prodigy.

The fierce cyan eyes remained this way throughout the whole performance. Piece by piece that was played seems to lite up the garden in a different way with each stroke of the strings. When all fell silently Terri took her bow, her chest raising and falling in a soft yet heavy rhythm, exhausted. Exhausted but thrilled once the rush of applause flooded her ears from the crowd in front of her.

It would seem that the performance was a hit, excellent. Terri for one was elated. Raising back up she offered a brilliant smile to the crowd before once more bowing then exiting the stage as the curtain slowly started to close. The show must have been at a few hours long, but the once exhausted m16 was already catching her second wind from just the reaction of the crowd. She knew she was an attention craver and reasoned there was nothing wrong with this, sailing backstage to carefully put her violin away.

"You ready?" Came the voice of her agent, Terri turned to peer curiously at the man clearly having forgotten the person whom had wanted a backstage visit with her. She wasn't to clear on the details but apparently the person was important enough to be able to see her, to important to refuse. "As I'll ever be.." With a practice smile Terri rose up and straightened her skirt out.
