Siemon reached out to take the rest of the cheesecake and wrap it up. Truth be told, he didn't think it was likely that he would finish the rest himself. He could always use some of it as a peace offering to his mostly absent roommate as an incentive for staying away even longer. He wasn't worried about being teased for baking; he knew as well as anyone that those who went through school without the people skills necessary to keep them from being bullies always ended up stuck in the back of some fast food restaurant, using their paper diploma to wipe grease off of their fingers. Best to save such scorn for the inside of your head, where he himself kept it for people like the ones across the classroom who had served the teacher a burnt brick of a cheesecake with whipped cream oozing off the sides like milky tears.
"Mine sort of insisted. I guess they thought it would help keep me in a mindset to do well." He smiled as he moved to fill the sink with soapy water so that the dishes could soak. "I might as well not have one at all; he's never around. More's the better; I don't care for him. I would love to commandeer his bed, but since he's technically still living there, I like being prepared in case he stumbles in one night and needs a place to crash and drool." He cleared his throat and held out a hand to shake. "Well, since class is almost over, I should say it's been a pleasure being your partner, and best of luck with the rest of your classes."

Percival could not help but grin at Siemon as he spoke of his room mate. The other boy had a subtle sense of humor that made him just made it so easy to be around him. Percival scooped his backpack up from the floor and swept it onto his shoulders as a bell lightly rang out in the hall.
Percival reached out to grasp Siemon's hand, gripping it with a rather loose hold, he gave it a few shakes as he replied. "Sounds like it is over, and it's the same for me. I'm looking forwards to working with you for the rest of this semester. At least I know this is one class I won't be stressing out about." Percy tilted his head to one side and allowed his lips to curl into a slightly wider grin. "Goodluck to you too, and see you tomorrow Siemon." He wished the other before pulling his hand back. Percy slipped his hand under the paper plate holding his slice of cheesecake and glanced at the clock on the wall. Hmm...time for gym... Maybe he could give his cheesecake to the coach to butter him up into letting him sit on the sidelines for a bit so he could work on some homework...
