That was an interesting watch... I think it helps quite a bit to see how they do it all, especially in such a dark, twisted atmosphere. There were several scenes I wondered how they did it, such as Pyramid head's skin rip scene, and the scene with the church.... but of course these are 2 of the all time most brilliant, brutal scenes ever! twisted

Bonus brutal points for being done on naughty people and having it be slow and painful. twisted My favorite part is probably how they did the Straight Jackets acidic vomit.

oh yea that was a pretty wicked scene too. A lot of people claim that Smog from homecoming was the straightjacket from the movie. I believe those people need to play the second game stare

Mm. I've seen this on my copy of the movie. If I like a film, I'll watch the other features, usually. What I liked most is what they did with Colin. Like, it's obvious, if you've watched loads of 'Making Of...', then you'll know that pretty much anything can be done with a green screen. So just seeing Colin's actor have legs hoisted up way onto his back and then these green legs behind him that are his real legs always makes me giggle. And the nurses... need I say more? They're definitely all more creepier and atmospheric in-game of course. The film itself was okay, but you have to give the set and creature designers kudos, they did pretty well.
If you have time, I recommend watching the part of the Making Of where they talk about how they made the sets.

I will agree with you, what they did special effect wise is indeed worth praising. Surprisingly, I never felt myself wondering how they did what they did, or how they pulled off certain things. When I first watched it, it was as if everything was just the way it was supposed to be. That and its interesting to see in the making ofs all the costumes... they truly look like costumes, and yet in your mind your thinking this isnt right, its suppose to be slimy and bloody and transparent in the skin.... that was an outstanding team of special effects, makeup, and costume artists.
