Jake's apartment is decorated and furnished in a Japanese style consisting mainly of a single open-plan room which is a mix of the living/dining room and kitchen.
The bedroom and bathroom are separate though, for privacy.

Jake woke to the sound of someone knocking on his apartment door and picked himself up off his futon.
He hadn't been sleeping.. Just laying back and being generally lazy.
He slid open his bedroom door and stepped out before sliding it shut again and then headed for the front door...

Opening it wide with a sleepy expression, Jake looked at the girl who was standing before him.
Stunned by her bright blue eyes, Jake quicky rubbed his face to return it to a more normal look and smiled.
"H-hello." He started with. "Who are you?" He asked.

"Ah! No.. I wasn't asleep." Jake replied quickly.
"Oh, thank you." He smiled taking the box held out to him. "My name's Jake. Jake Walker.
Umm.. Would you like to come in for a bit? I could make you a drink or something if you'd like?" He offered.
