Moving away a little from fantasy (I'm sorry to say I find some writers really dull in that area), I would suggest 3095 days by Natascha Kampusch.
She tells a story of her own abduction and how she survived it.
Its a very hard read, not in a language sense, but in a sense that you know that it happened for real. it was not imagined.
