The young king steepled his fingers thoughtfully. The points made around the table were all good, all strong, all well-made, frequently distressing, and always overwhelming. Slowly, he let his hands turn and his fingertips press, then knead against his forehead, leaning over his empty soup bowl. As Tibarn finished, he sat up quickly and cleared his throat, to prevent further discussion and suggestion.
"Thank you, Chieftain Songhua, and King Cyric. I understand your predicament all too well, and that you would spare even one of your vassals in your situation, to say nothing of Sir Horatio's particular skill and loyalty, is incredibly generous. I gratefully accept this aid, and would extend to you any supplies you need, in addition to enough troops to round out your regiment to return to Estarcia in safety." He offered his fellow king a seated bow, then turned to the outspoken crew members, along with the woman who had accompanied Tibarn, whose sudden interjection of wit and tactics had surprised him-- and, from the look of things, a few others around the table, the Hawk King himself included.
"This... will not be easy in the midst of reconstruction," he said, frowning, "But I believe you are correct. Drake's tactics will not allow us to seize victory on the defensive, and not in our own homeland. We need to break the stalemate ourselves and push into Sentria. However..." He took a long, deep breath, sitting back. "I hesitate to mobilize an exhausted army so quickly, and to make judgment on the validity of your claim, Amir Khayri," he sighed, turning his attention to the slightly older boy at the opposite end of the table. "I... require some time to think before I will issue any orders or extend more than the hospitality you deserve-- you will be shown to a large guest suite at your convenience here in the castle, where you may stay and rest until we have decided what course of action we may take." He sat up again, visibly tired and aged beyond his meager years, and banged the gavel on the table, then stood.
"I'm going to call this meeting adjourned. Tibarn, Amelia, please confer with Lord Zeon and the Captain regarding the specifics of the civilian defense... thing. I am going to retire to the temple. I have much to think about." He closed his eyes, heaving another slow sigh as others continued their meals or stood to find their own ways home. "We will reconvene tomorrow evening, on the eve of the anniversary celebration. Dismissed."

TL;DR? _ Allow me to give you a summary. An important war meeting was taking place in Eyris castle. King Cyric, Chieftain Songhua, General Valkeria (Vaida), Watch Captain Vatara (Leon), Marina, Lord Zeon, and all the crew were present with, of course, King James. As Rath was giving a report on the current standings in the country, they are suddenly interrupted with news that a man claiming to be the true heir to the long thought to be dead Sentrian royal family has come seeking an audience, along with his two attendants. Curious, King James agrees to see him and is presented with a plea to help him retake his country from Drake the Serpent Fang. Naturally, everyone is hesitant to believe the claim to Sentrian royalty and the only thing the man named Amir has to present is his family sword. The group discusses things for a bit, agreeing that regardless, some sort of action needs to be made to get out of their never ending stalemate against Sentria. King Cyric and Chieftain Songhua need to return to their own countries as well, meaning Learania will be even more hard pressed. After hearing everyone out, King James realizes that the decision he has to make is very big and doesn't want to do the wrong thing. So instead of giving an answer right away, he tells Amir that he will take the night to think about it and reconvene their meeting the next day.
Is this man truly the rightful prince of Sentria, or is this all just a trick set up by our enemies? Learania's fate lies with king James. What will be his decision?
Stay tuned!
