ducks are not considered to be poultry, they are waterfowl, but that's mostly important when it comes to cooking them
biggrin I have chickens now, I've had turkeys and ducks. Turkeys are basically the same as chickens, but they eat a lot more... And I eat all my animals ('cept for my dog), and I have to say when it comes to taste turkeys are the bomb! I prefer the ducks, I love their eggs and the fact that they are smart enough to travel in a herd
lol I miss my ducks... a coon got to them, killed two and injured the other, I had to kill it and bury them all
crying crying crying after all I fed them, and I didn't even get to eat them....
