Post what you think will happen in ME3 as well as anything you really hope will be in it.
Personally I think there will be a scenario were Shepard fails to stop the Reapers and the cycle will continue indefinitely. Granted it'll probably be like the really bad ending of ME2 where you almost have to be trying to get it but it would still be nice touch.
I hope that there will be a opportunity for Wrex to rejoin your party, temporarily anyway. I miss him cry .
There is one thing I'm not sure I want and that's a cure for Thane. Don't get me wrong I love Thane and I'll probably cry when he dies but a cure now of all times would seem like a cope out. That is unless they manage to come up with the best explanation ever for it but barring that I'd be skeptical.

Im hoping that the Illusive Man will turn out to be the greatest Villain of all time by taking control of the reapers and ruling the galaxy with an iron fist MWAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!

I want to see any character that had an interactive role in both ME1 and 2 to come back with an even more important role, i.e. Dr. Droyas, Shiala, Parasini, Conrad Verner, Cpl. Toombs, etc. We all know that their roles will continue to be integral. Why else would they have come back?
I see the prothean tech giving the defending forces of the galaxy an edge, if not a leg up, against the reapers. Something they only began to scratch the surface of that the current races will seize upon and improve. That may very well be the basis for the game. No squadmate recruitment, no loyalty missions for individuals. Rather, a gathering of materials, allies, tech and weaponry to thwart the Reaper menace.
Also, Quarian and Geth collaboration (if done right via ME1 and 2). And I'm dead certain that the Batarians are in with the Reapers. For more details, goHere.
