I actually say it shoulden't even though I enjoy the show. I don't know what it'd be about aside from the series. I thougt the same thing wehn I saw a commercial for a Yu-Gi-Oh! and I thought it was completely moronic. If they made it I'd watch it but I don't think it'd be too good honestly. rolleyes

bbgrl i thibk it should it's my favorite show so it would be my favorite movie i know what i said at first but the more i think of it the more i feel that they should hace the series and end the whole thing with a seres finale movie

Colette_tears sharkcrow Wow avatar in theaters!!! Cool!! Its a great idea as long as the writers write a super awsome plot. If not the movie will kill the show like so many other cartoons . Pokemon, that hey arnold show, yugioh I agree. i totally agree. im not really sure about the movie, it would be cool but the problem is that sometimes the movies are just lame compared to the series bec. they are so short the writters sometime mess up the story

the idea sounds good but it looks like they intend to end avatar with book 4 or w/e so it might not be a good idea to stick with aang i dunno why but it just seems like they'd make a movie like that fills and takes up time unless they had a HUGE plothole that needed to be filled... know any good plotholes?

I dont know if a movie would be able to do the show justice.

Totaly agree, I think that if there was to be a movie about avatar it should be the final episodes like the last five or three chapters of the last book which I think is fire.

I don't think there should be one, because like some of you said it can kill the show. I just think it's alright when they stick some chapters together and make a short movie type thing.

THEY ARE MAKING A MOVIE! THE DATE IS JULY 14!!!!
IT IS CALLED THE FURY OF THE AVATAR!!
IT WILL BE A TWO EPPIE MOVIE BUT ONE HOUR LONG!
THE CHAPTERS ARE CALLED
THE LIBRARY AND THE DESERT!!
Here is the summary from T.V..com:
A professor leads the kids to a spirit library in the middle of the desert, where Sokka hopes to discover powerful secrets to use against the Fire Nation. Aang searches for Appa, while Katara struggles to keep everyone together so they can survive in the vast desert. Meanwhile, Iroh and Zuko seek help from an ancient secret society.
While this episode and the next are classified as a TV Movie titled "The Fury of the Avatar," and are to be aired together, they were originally written as two separate episodes, but will be aired as one, hour-long TV movie special on Nickelodeon.

most of the nickelodian shows had short movies(not to mention danny phantom stare ) it would be nice though

If there was to be a movie, it should be reserved for last in the series. Because once you see a movie, you don't think much of the tv show anymore. The movie's always a lot more awesome than the show.
