Last year or so, my parents adopted my baby nephew. I thought it was a good idea since his mom and dad were... hmm, I don't know, and we didn't want him to end up with a family that would not take care of him if someone else were to adopt him or be his legal guardians; however, my dad is not helping with the baby. Sure he watches him, but he lets the baby play with what is not his. Yesterday, my dad was lying in bed, awake, and he let the baby play with my mom's curler looking thing and he broke it. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but it was a machine. Anyways, my dad did not pick up the baby's mess and my mom ended up getting mad. The baby even broke part of my mom's sewing machine when my dad was supposed to be watching him. If I could, I would kick my dad out of the house and never let him come back. Too bad I can't. Then there was the time my baby brother had to go get stitches in his head because my dad let the baby get hurt, and the time my dad did not change the baby because the baby ran away from him. The baby had no where to run and yet my dad just said "he ran away from me." Sure the baby ran away, but he does that with everyone. I ended up changing the baby. Then my dad goes "we don't have money to do that," and yet he goes and does what he wants to do. There are times when he actually does do something, but yeah.

I feel sorry for the baby too, and I am starting to believe he is one as well.

I feel for you. Sadly that sounds a lot like the problem one of my daughters is having with her husband. And in that case they are even his kids. He has plenty of time for X-box though. (sigh)
