It states in the King James Vers. of The Holy Bible; 1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. v9 states- This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation. v10 states- For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. v11 states -These things command and teach. v13 states- Til I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. v14 states- Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. v15 states- Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. v16 states- Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
Not trying to stir any thing up here. But I figure that if you are going to quote a passage from the Bible. You may as well quote the entire passage so that none of it can be taking out of context. Christian Hugs, ~Lyn~

I have seen this particular passage of Scripture used by another guild here on Gaia. They do not quote the entire passage, but only seem to use the parts of it as well as other Scriptures of The Holy Bible in a sense that fits their way of thought only and not use the passage or verses as they were originally intended to be used.
