People in this world disappoint me. So much hatred and needless death, it's all so pointless. And then those that say they want there to be peace, but do nothing about it. I'm even disappointed in myself, as I do nothing and simply dream. Now don't get me wrong, there are those that really try to make a difference in this world, but almost all of them get shot down, suchas Ghandi, MLK Jr., and JFK. For some reason, humans simply want to keep hatred and death in this world. And when i say death, i don't mean death from old age or natural disasters, but murder. Why? Why do humans have to be so violent in nature? That's why peace can never be attained. It's because everyone believes peace must be fought for. But then, that's not true peace, is it? It's just an illusion. An illusuion that one group of people gained by beating down others. While they are living happily, others are suffering. And when people are suffering because of someone else, hatred begins to stir. And when that hatred spills over the brims, you get war, which in turn causes more hate. It's nothing but a viscous cycle that will never end. There is one way to gain true peace, which would be to accept the differences between people and how those differences make the world beautiful, and then work with one another to further ourselves as a group together instead of fighting all the time. But sadly, that is but a far off dream that most likely will never be reached because people are to judgemental of others. This is why peace can't be attained. This is why people disappoint me...

Just had to get something off my chest...

Humans are and sadly will be the most animalistic, inhuman, and cruelest thing in the universe until some deity realizes we're a scrounge and try zap us to nothingness or some disaster kills us all.

But that's the thing... I know for a fact that not everyone is as vile and cruel as the majority. I'd like to think of myself as one of the 1% actually.
But you are right on some grounds. It just feels like everyone and anyone who tries to make peace is suddenly killed by someone who wants to keep the hatred strong. I'm honestly not surprised people are afraid to rise up and try to change things.

~People have different beliefs. Truly, I wish people would follow a certain order. Like a utopia, a perfect world where everyone believes in the same thing, no fighting what so ever but now that I think on it. A utopia would be boring, I don’t want everything to be alike, I want everyone to believe what they want.

And about the “murder” thing. I agree on this. People just get messed up in the head and take on desperate measures. Sometimes its suicide, and people just feel like they don’t want life anymore and they make their mistake. Thats what life is now. Just a big pile of bodies waiting to die.

Well, a utopia, in my opinion, though it would create peace, is just an illusion. A utopia, though it would be great, is the complete opposite of what humans really are. People come in all shapes and sizes, with all kinds of different thoughts.
But I'll have to disagree about everyone just being a pile of bodies waiting to die. I mean really, people have the potential to be very beautiful. Think of your life. Have you ever encountered someone, anyone who just always seemed to put a smile on your face, no matter how dak times were?
People have the potential to do wonderful things. People dreamed of going to the moon, and thy did it! I just believe that instead of fighting over illy things like resources, we should share and help one another out. I mean, that's how the US was created, is it not? The colonized states in America looked at Great Britain as an impossible obstacle to overcome. But when they decided to give it their all and work together, they defeated Great Britain, who had the most powerful army in the world at the time. So imagine how much could be achieved if people continued to put their collective minds together, because you know what they say; two heads are better than one.

But thats what we really are. Yes, people can do great things, and yes some people are beautiful butterflies, but everyone is certainly just waiting to die. Like some christians are waiting for rapture. Everyone is truly just waiting to die.
Think of murders. A murderer is bound to be caught and he will be the one just waiting to be caught, you can’t expect to get away with murder without paying some kind of price. So he will be waiting to die.

You can’t expect people to change what they have already done. Nor can you change their psychological minds. Some people can’t contain what they believe. So they do the bad things.

Very true, my friend. I like your way of thinking.
But that is the exact reason why I stated that true peace can never be attained. People will always unite to overcome obstacles, but once that's done and over with, they'll resort back to their old ways.

No but they can change on their own. Theres always that one thing that will help a person change to over come obstacles and attain the peace needed, but some people feel as though they are fine with they way they are living, they feel as though killing is the good way to go. That means that they were lead onto the wrong path.
It always depends on the path you take. Which also means that your life is counted on the path you take.
Hm, it usually starts with how you grow up. Lets say your father was abusive and your mother wasn’t rarely there to witness anything but she’d find you torn up with bruises. The kid grew older and he’d begun to fight back, he had anger issues and he begun beating on his mother for scolding him.
That means that his father taught him to start beating people. And that means he grew up on the wrong path. The way you grow up is always the reason of your outcome. You can’t expect people to change the way they are, they have to want to change their life style.

I disagree with you. Sure they way you were raised influences your life, but just because you were abused by your father does not mean you'll start beating on other people.
Also, I agree that after an obstacle is overcome, those who worked together will go back to their old ways.

There are also people who would rather die than help someone they hate overcome an obstacle. For examples, there are two guys who hate each other, guy 1 and guy 2. They both hate each other, but then a monster comes and attacks. The only way to kill off the monster is for the two guys to come together; however, guy 2 refuses to work with guy 1, even though guy 1 wants to destroy the monster. In fact, guy 2 would be tking a lot of innocent bystanders with him.

I will quote MIB.

"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it."

That's really all that needs to be said. It's group mentality. A person can understand the problems of the world, but when you put a person together with other people, they lose the ability to function on a higher level.

Human beings as a species have long tried to place themselves above and beyond other animals, simply because we have a highly developed ability to adapt and learn. And once we developed the ability reason, we reasoned that we must be special and therefore better than animals because they can't reason like us. But the problem is we aren't better than animals, or that far removed from them at all. Our very physiology is built upon the framework of other so-called "lesser evolved" creatures.

Our ability to understand, and to reason has given our emotions deeper meaning, more varied means of expression, and in some cases screwed them up altogether. For example, the feeling of attachment to a mate, has evolved into a feeling we express as love and fondness. Likewise, other base emotions and drives have evolved as well. Our drive of self preservation, both of our self and our "pack", is what led to some of the first nations being formed.

My point is this: Everything that we are, and do, has its roots in our less evolved past. Yes certain things fade from genetic memory, or physiological usefulness, but much of what we once were is still there. And this "base code" is the same as in most other animals. The one thing that has made us humans seem so worse off, and so troublesome, is two reasons. Our technology, and our numbers. Our ability to learn and invent has become almost a pathological need. Even the phrase "Innovate or die" has become commonplace. And our numbers have become almost too much for this wole planet to support, much less any one particular region of it. These two thigns, combined with that sense of self preservation, is what leads to the human race being well known for coming up with better, faster, and more efficient ways of killing other humans.
