 Mei sat in her small cage. She hugged her knees close to her chest as she waited patiently, hoping to be taken home with someone today. She was tired of living here in this place. She watched as the people walked by her, not paying any attention to her. She frowned. She hugged her knees tighter, leaning her head against the side of her cage.

Skarr entered the market looking around a bit nervously, he had been in the market before but he has never made a purchase but today that was going to change he had someone in mind he had seen her before but didn't have enough money to actually make the purchase, he walked looking from cage to cage trying to spot her, once he found her, Skarr knelt down in front of her cage "Hello there" he said smiling warmly at the girl.

Mei looked up at the man that had addressed her. She sat up, blinking her eyes a few times, making sure she wasn't imagining things. She shifted her position as she sat on her knees. She smiled timidly at the man, "H-hello," she stuttered, her voice low and hoarse.

"So whats your name? Scarr asked sitting down on the floor in front fo the cage an inquisitive look on his face.

"I'm Mei, she told him. She wrapped her small hands around the bars of her cage. She smiled, "May I ask your name?" she said. She had the feeling she recognized him, and she did. She had seen him come here before.

"Hello Mei, my name is Skarr." He said reaching his hand through the bars of her cage offering to shake her hand " It's a pleasure to meet you"

Mei hesitated before shaking Skarr's hand. She smiled warmly at him, "It's nice to meet you too," she said to him kindly. She released his hand quickly. She could feel her heart race as her hand throbbed with the pleasure she felt from touching his warm fingers.

"So Mei I have a question for you" Scarr said pulling his hand out of the cage"how would you like to come home with me?"

She smiled widely at him. Her heart skipped a beat as he said that. "You want to take me home?" she said in disbelief. She smiled eagerly at him and nodded, "I would like that!

"Great!" Scarr exclaimed, he waved over a guard and told him to unlock her cage "so i take it by your response you won't be needing a leash right?"

She shook her head, hoping he wouldn't put her on a leash. She crawled out of the cramped cage as the guard unlocked the door. Her legs were numb and she wobbled a little as she stood up. She stayed close by Scarr's side, waiting for him to give her an order.

"How about we get out of here ang go see your new home." Skarr said as he grabbed Mei's hand and headed towards the exit, stopping to pay for her at the counter, exiting quickly after.
