The shitty thing is that it takes months of consistent shaving (at least for me) before the red bumps and ingrown hairs slowly stop popping up every single time I shave and the itchiness slowly stops coming as the hair starts coming back.
If she's only shaving once or twice a year... dude... not only is she going to go through some serious discomfort from not shaving regularly, but she's going to be a red, bumpy mess down there. Just ask her to trim it up. If she says no, ********' deal with it. It's her body.

Craig trims the excess so it's not all in my face when he wants a blow job, but he keeps some there because frankly, I like my men (erm man) to look like grown men.
I do the same. Everyone once in a while I'll mess up the landing strip and go bald to grow things back in the way I want them, but he's never once asked me to do anything with my pubes so it's always a surprise what he's going to get down there.
