I laughed for a good five minutes when I found that out. When I told the boyfriend, his reaction was the same as mine.
So, for me and the boyfriend (to a lesser extent), our respect for the character is lost. But how do you feel about this revelation?

Did you watch the character introduction video for FPJ/Vega on Gametrailers.com?
I wasn't too interested in Vega, and I admit that I was a bit humored when I discovered his VA, but that video got me really excited for the game. More excited than some of the marketing stuff they've been throwing out lately. The fact that Freddie has played the first 2 games and is a nerd to begin with made me start to care more about Vega.

I wasn't too interested in Vega, and I admit that I was a bit humored when I discovered his VA, but that video got me really excited for the game. More excited than some of the marketing stuff they've been throwing out lately. The fact that Freddie has played the first 2 games and is a nerd to begin with made me start to care more about Vega. It's got some spoilers in it. Nothing super major if you've been watching the demo and trailers that BioWare has been releasing... some character interaction between Shepard and Vega. Jame Vega Featurette

Oh, Yipes. I'm going to be thinking of Fred from Scooby doo every time I seem him now. XD That should make the game pretty damn....interesting?

I doubt I'll ever take Vega seriously again. XD Well, it might take some of the depressing serious-ness out of ME3!

I've never watched the L-A Scooby Doo movie, so I was spared the extra hilarity. I should refrain until after I play through ME3, so I don't laugh at Vega all the time. >.<
