OMGoodness- you have never been to a con...Well, there are cosplayers and panels and raves and more cosplayers and more panels and more raves and lots of socializing..and fantastic guests from the anime industry..and did I mention cosplaying and raves? Nope, never been... but it definitely sounds like my kinda party! xd I've never done a cosplay before but would love to do it. I love dressing up! What are some good cons that you know about? I go to youmacon every year and have a blast! If youre in the michigan area you should definitely check it out. I got my friend from canada to come down and she loved it. Now she wants me to go to anime north with her but alas I have no passport I don't have a passport either. gonk Do you cosplay when you go? I'd like to be Harley Quinn, personally. Yes I do, since my second con. In fact I posted a couple of my pics here. The BF wants to be my William this year <3 and he's got a lot of other couple cosplays planned for us. Most of them are yaoi and I find that hilarious OH, that is awesome! My boyfriend isn't really into dressing up, unless it's in the bedroom. rolleyes I wish he'd cosplay with meeeeeee!! crying Forgive me for my stupidity... but what is yaoi?

General Madness OH, that is awesome! My boyfriend isn't really into dressing up, unless it's in the bedroom. rolleyes I wish he'd cosplay with meeeeeee!! crying Forgive me for my stupidity... but what is yaoi? Haha my BF wants to use the cosplays there as well xD And yaoi is male/male

yep, going to Anime Oasis again. none of my friends are able to go this year with me but i'm still looking forward to it...i just need to finish a costume by the end of May

I'm not a really big anime fan. Just never got into it. But I did go to Onicon here in Houston about three years back. It was okay but really crowded. The stuff was so expensive, especially the last day.
Everyone kept telling me that they used to hold it in a large convention center here in the city (George R. Brown) and that it sucked that they were holding it in a hotel.
I liked this one interactive game they were playing with foam weapons and stuff. And looking at all the costumes. I got me a sword too. Was too side tracked to remember that Gaia attended those kinds of things, so maybe I'll go another year and catch DJ.

I went to Ohayocon this year! It was pretty fun.
I'm thinking about going to AWA too.
I went to AWA last year and it was alright.
I definitely liked Ohayocon better.

The first 2 times I went were horrid.
