Roll a six: Electric Field: The field is completely flat. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field are five electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These release static discharge across the field at random; electric attacks may be able to amplify themselves by using these stray charges to their advantage. The discharges also programmed to encourage pokemon to avoid standing in one location for too long This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ELECTRIC type attacks.

Walpurgis stood in the trainer's box. He was fighting a new trainer, a guy slightly older than himself. He had an emolga, a pokemon Gangrel seemed to fight a lot, so the field certainly favored him. Still though, he worried Gangrel would be too competitive. As a gym leader, he'd be expected to teach new trainers about battling, and he didn't want to destroy someone's self esteem before it could even begin. He wasn't planning on throwing the match, but he didn't want to curbstomp the other trainer, either.

Astaroth looked around curiously. He normally wasn't one to do battles but there hadn't been any contest going on and he needed to get Carlito some battling experience before they got out into the wild in search for unique colored pokemon. He noticed the type of field they would be fighting in and hoped that was a good sign.

Astaroth nodded at the other trainer before grinning as grabbed Carlito's pokeball and threw it out onto the field, "Go Carlito! Do me proud!"
It seemed to sparkle as it opened, releasing the Emolga it held. Carlito came out of the ball and seemed to pose for a second before looking around him. He looked a little disappointed at the lack of beautiful ladies, and the place didn't have the appearance of any contest he'd seen.
"Lets start this battle off with Thunderbolt!" Astaroth called and Carlito nodded and started running preparing his attack.

Gangrel shuddered as electricity coursed through his body. It certainly didn't help being in THIS field.
"Gangrel, use Ice Beam!"
As his eyes turned a light blue color, he fired a blast of cold at the emolga.

Carlito shivered as he shook off the affects of Ice Beam and darted around the field.
"That's it Carlito! Hit him with another Thunderbolt!"
Carlito circled one last time allowing the electricity in the field to energize him a bit before getting into position and casting Thunderbolt at the rattata.

((Emolga is weak to ice-type moves, being of the flying-type, so the damage dealt by Ice Beam is 150. :3

Gangrel staggered as electricity rocked his body. He was really starting to hate emolgas. Red eyes turned blue as another blast of ice shot forth from his mouth.

Carlito shivered and jumped around the field trying to shake off the ice beam. Since it worked so well before, Carlito let go another Thunderbolt.
