Lizzy sat under the huge willow tree staring at her roze quarts, more like glaring. She then pokes it angrily. "Why won't you work?" What she was talking about was roze quarts is supposed to attract love, and her love life has been nothing but a slow lonely plot less pile of crap. She wondered if the stone wasn't roze quartz after all. She sighed and placed the stone back in her little pouch she carried with her which also held a jade stone for luck. She wasn't going to pout, even though she wanted to do so badly, but she refused to let herself pout. She had heard if you make a face often enough, your face will stay that way. So instead she opened a book on astrology, western astrology, and read about her sign.

Despite it being such a nice day and as much as he would prefer to spend it just lounging somewhere, Odakota still had to eat. Leave it to him to actually be upset for his body's natural instincts telling him that he needed sustenance. Whatever. . . he wasn't going to complain. It kept him alive after all. He just tried to keep his mind off of simply lying down and doing nothing. Unfortunately, something he spotted up ahead would make that task quite difficult. The male had just caught sight of a beautiful willow tree, sure it was providing excellent shade and began to daydream himself dozing under its branches as he trotted closer. It was as he approached that he noticed that his 'dream location' already had an inhabitant and frowned just slightly before saying softly. "Oh well."

Lizzy just realized that there was a male over there, he just said oh well...what ws that supposed to mean? She raised her voice. "Oh well what?" She felt like he was putting her down, how dare he. She didn't wait for him to answer, she jumped into the tree. He was mean, she was now pouting.

Odakota's ears perked when the other fox seemed to have spoke to him. The question confused him, tilting his head. But, before he could get any confirmation of what her question meant, she had leapt into the tree. "Oh dear." He stated to himself. Slowly, he went to the tree and glanced up its trunk. "Are you alright?"

Lizzy looked down and frowned. "I thought you were talking about me when you said oh well...It, kinda felt like an insult." She noticed he was pretty cute. "Never mind what I said, I'm just being dramatic." She jumped down and smiled up at him. My name is Lizzy, what is yours?" She puts out a paw to shake. She had been so lonely...and she acted like a drama queen, ugh, can i do anything right??? She hoped he didn't judge her on that, they say first impressions are important....ughhhh. She hid her annoyance with herself trying to seem normal, even if she felt she was the biggest idiot.

Odakota tilted his head as the female told him that she had misinterpreted his words. He shook his head softly. "No, I was just musing to myself." He answered her, backing up and giving her room as she jumped down from the tree and landed down in front of him. "It's nice to meet you Lizzy, I am Odakota." He introduced himself. When she held out her paw to him, he looked to it, quite unsure. He didn't want to be rude, but his OCD made it hard for him to just grab anything. Slowly, he lifted a paw and tentatively took hold of her paw and shook it before putting his paw back down.

"W-whats wrong, um, I'm gonna call you Kota, because it is really cute....whats wrong Kota?" She looked at her paw to see if it was dirty, it didn't look dirty. She wondered if he would tell her. She doesn't judge noodles. "You can tell me, I can take it if you think im gross." She scratched her head, she was sure some people thought she was gross, alot of people hate pink. She didn't really care, screw them!! Lizzy tried hard not to look mad or sad or anything She wanted the truth.

He seemed to frown when she glanced to her paw and hoped he didn't offend her. He honestly didn't mind the nickname really, as long as she didn't call him anything offensive, she could have given him any nickname she wanted. When she asked if she was gross, he shook his head, softly, but immediately. "No... it's not that. It's... it's hard to explain." He told her, rubbing his foreleg up and down with his paw.

Lizzy smiled at him. "You don't have to worry about being judged by me." She sat closer to him. "You don't have to tell me, I don't want you to feel
uncomfortable. I'm just gonna say this, don't mind me though. But you are a very handsome guy, just wanted you to know you are a cutie." She giggled and smiled at him.

Odakota was just about, awkwardly, tell her the reason why he wasn't comfortable shaking her paw when she surprised him with the comment of him being a 'cutie', according to her words. He swallowed hard at that as a large rush of color came to his cheeks. "Y-You don't want me to feel uncomfortable, but you drop a bomb like that." He chuckled lightly, "you need to work on your priorities."

Lizzy frowned, feeling stupid for saying what she said. "I'm sorry." She looked down at the ground. "Sometimes I don't think before I speak, you don't have to tell me what was bothering you about a hand shake, I mean if it is really uncomfy."

When she frowned, he did so as well. "Hey... I was only joking. I didn't mean to upset you." He said. He lifted a paw to nudge her lightly, but stopped and held it out for a moment. He looked like he was pondering something for quite some time. After some time, his paw finally made contact with her shoulder and gave it a tiny, comforting shove. "I'm sorry."
