Alika
Leopard

                  They call me Alika
                  Its pronounced Ah-lee-kah
                  I'm only Four years old
If you can't tell already I'm a Female
Its fairly easy to see that I'm a Leopard
In my group I rank as the Lone Huntress
My fur color is Creamy golden beige with spots and ringlets of black.
My eyes are A light honey gold color that can appear green at times.
                  As of right now I love None (;
I have a few offspring, their names are Maybe never.
If you asked my friends about my personality they would tell you that I'm Energetic and completely stubborn. Alika is a wild and flirtatious she-cat with a talent for seducing males. Looking past this, Alika has never mated before, but many have courted her and tried to capture her as a mate. Intelligent and witty, Alika hardly knows how to hold her tongue and enjoys exercising her knowledge and ability to lure in males. Alika loves her freedom, but, if she finds the right mate, she will settle down. She enjoys leading chases but is a very social cat. Alika knows how to make friends and has a charming sense of humor. Playful as a kitten but wise and cautious, Alika is somewhat of a tease. This female angers quickly and is very defensive, but not particularly aggressive. She knows her flaws and doesn't like them pointed out unless it is something she can fix. Alika can be argumentative and sassy, but not overly so.

If you asked about my life story I would tell you this Once upon a time two beautiful young leopards mated to create the most splendid. Ha! Who actually has a past like that? Akila's parents were standard leopards, though her father was smaller than her mother and submissive towards the large she-cat. They mated together on hot, steamy nights in the savanna when they could find each other in the grasses. Passion was the main factor in their quick relationships, but there was no actual love on the part of the tom cat. Alika's mother was madly in love with the tom, but it was a one sided relationship. Too bad for the vindictive b***h, who thought so highly of herself that she didn't expect Alika's father to ever leave. She was delusional, and sure enough, when she met her lover in secret to tell him the good news, he faltered in fear.

But that wasn't the end of it; the two leopards hadn't met for a long while, and Alika's mother was beginning to worry for her 'mate'. What she didn't know and never discovered that he was killed by a pride of lions while crossing their territory in an attempt to flee the female he had gotten pregnant. So, the she-cat gave birth to Alika and was instantly jealous of her beautiful cub. When Alika opened her eyes her mother tried to drown her once. This didn't succeed. Alika's mother realized her flaw and shaped up to become a better mother. Then cam the time that Alika was to leave her mother. The two females didn't have a close bond, so there weren't any tears. Now she wanders alone, happy to be free.

I forgot to mention Alika has a hard time forming serious bonds with any big cat.

Lesedi
Meerkat

                  They call me Lesedi
                  Its pronounced leh-SEH-dee
                  I'm only six years old
If you can't tell already I'm a female
Its fairly easy to see that I'm a meerkat
In my group I rank as the alpha female
                  My fur color is fawn
                  My eyes are brown
As of right now I love the alpha male of my mob
I have a few offspring, their names are n/a (If anyone would like their character to be one of Lesedi's children, feel free to do so, just let me know so I can keep track.)
If you asked my friends about my personality they would tell you that I'm quite the motherly (and bossy) figure. I love this mob, but sometimes I'm almost tempted to bite off a couple tails here and there. Still, they're my responsibility to lead, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm proud of my mob and all of my children, and even though I want to tear their tails off some days, the rest of the days I'm making sure those tails stay attached and well-fed, not to mention safe from all the predators around. As a leader I'm strict and quick to enforce the pecking order, and as a mother I'm caring and gentle with all my offspring. I also have a fondness for scorpions, especially if someone else does the dirty work and takes the stinger off for me.

If you asked about my life story I would tell you this to start, I grew up in rather large mob, squabbling siblings and infights all over the place. It was wonderful to live with such a big group, but the food was running low. See, we lived quite a ways into the desert, where food is much scarcer. Any kat could see that things were getting too crowded, a big fight was brewing between my sibs and the alphas of the mob, and so I pretty much decided it was best to take off before the alphas decided to chase to whole lot of us away with bitemarks on our rumps. Come to think of it, the rest of my sibs probably got chased off anyway.

I traveled quite a long ways from the desert, dodging predators and other mobs that were none too welcoming, until finally I came across the nicest abandoned burrow--well, nice except for the viper that had taken up residence. A viper is something no kat should try to forcibly remove on their own, and I was stuck: either try to remove it on my own, or keep moving in hopes of finding somewhere better. I chose to move on, and it was a smart decision; I ran into the handsome male who became my mate, we dug a lovely burrow of our own, and here we are today, raising our own squabbling children and maintaining the pecking order best we can.

I forgot to mention I love a good grooming, whether I'm giving it or receiving it.

Axel
Zuande

                  They call me Axel
                  Its pronounced Ax – el
                  I'm only six years old
If you can't tell already I'm a male
Its fairly easy to see that I'm a meerkat
In my group I rank as the Alpha Male
My fur color is a tan with a white underbelly along with black markings here and there
                  My eyes are dark brown
As of right now I love my alpha female, Lesedi
I have a few offspring, their names are n/a (same for me about the children thing for me too)
If you asked my friends about my personality they would tell you that I'm calm, always facing dire situations with a cool attitude and sometimes even a playful one. You know, to lighten the mood. I’m not some stiff as stone leader who just sits there and watches my mob with cold, calculating eyes. Nope, I mess around with pups, get into a little bit of mischief here and there. Then again, there is my ‘Leader’ side where I know how to take control of a situation, and maybe bend it to go my way. I do not sit back if I am insulted either. I don’t take foul attitudes that well. I can have a temper sometimes, but most have grown to love how I place my views on things.

If you asked about my life story I would tell you this about me. I was born from the alpha female of my birth mob, of course. My litter was a small one, but that didn’t matter because the largeness the group already held. Our mob had three roving males that hung around it and who would try and swoon the sitter often. I had looked up to them for the bravery of wandering so close to such a big mob with alphas like mine. So as I grew older and followed their example of rebellions I was slowly starting to leave my mob for long periods of time until one day, I just didn’t return.

I had become a roving male and to me it was wonderful. I didn’t have to worry about so many things. Sometimes I would stop and spend time with other groups of roving males. Then I stumbled upon a lone female. I truthfully was just going to swoon her and leave, but I ended up staying with her longer than intended…to the point where it the thought of leaving her gave me an uncomfortable, distasteful feeling. I stayed with her and it turned out to be one of the best choices of my life.

I forgot to mention n/a currently

Faizah
Outsider

                  They call me Faizah
                  Its pronounced Fae-zah
                  I'm only one years old
If you can't tell already I'm a blushing female!
Its fairly easy to see that I'm a Meerkat
In my group I rank as the None
My fur color is Sandy gold and beige.
My eyes are Hawk feather brown.
As of right now I love w-w-what!?
I have a few offspring, their names are non-existent !
If you asked my friends about my personality they would tell you that I'm A bit skittish, to understate. I can be terribly paranoid and scared of my own shadow. The funny thing is, I do not fear Meerkats, but I am afraid of almost everything else. For one so young, I always check my surroundings and tread lightly. Someday the sky might collapse on our heads, or a hawk will swoop me up! And I'm not ready to ever let that happen. You'll see me observing my surroundings plenty, always hunting for signs of danger. I am extremely attentive and thoughtful, and I do love being accepted into things. Many say I'm a tad bit over eager to make friends, but that's not true. I just really like having other meerkats around me. I'm very trusting but very intelligent when id comes to certain matters. I am talented at calculating the time it takes for a hawk to dive, and the amount of time it will take me to find a certain centipede or insect. Since I'm such a wary meerkat, I'm rather evasive and good at escaping scary situations. My most noticeable feature is my paranoia, but it stops me from every truly enjoying myself. I'm young, so I should grow out of it!

If you asked about my life story I would tell you this My mother and rather were Zuande members. Father was a sitter and mother was an excellent forager. Sadly, my mother became pregnant with me when the Alpha female was also carrying pups. They birthed only two days apart. The Alpha female sought my mother's litter and killed all except me. My father managed to escape with me dangling from his mouth. Later, he found that my mother was also killed for his actions. It wasn't my fault that they had conceived at a time that was not favored by the Alpha. Bitterness coiled and seethed in my father, until he left me at the paws of a nursing meerkat wandered that held no group. We lived on the outskirts of Zuande territory. She was never brave enough to enter and seek acceptance with her children.

From this new mother I learned most of my qualities. Thankfully, she raised me as her own. I grew alongside three healthy and strong boys. I was their frightened little sister that they felt the need to protect. This arrangement did not agree with me, but I could never prove that I could leave behind my skittish behaviors. So they never let me venture off; I was forced to do so in secret without them. One day, I ventured too far and stumbled into Zuande's land while I was foraging. Afraid to be chased off, I stayed at a distant and sheltered in a vacant burrow. I am too afraid to approach directly, and feel that traveling deeper into the land will allow a hawk to catch me!

I forgot to mention I really love sleeping beside another meerkat, and the grooming periods of closeness.

Zaitsi
Beja Pride

                  They call me Zaitsi
                  Its pronounced Zi-it-see
                  I'm only Nine years old
If you can't tell already I'm a Female
Its fairly easy to see that I'm a Lioness
In my group I rank as the Old pride member
My fur color is A rich bronze-ish gold, with tinges of white on my muzzle
My eyes are a deep earthy brown
As of right now I love A deceased male
I have a few offspring, their names are Saeed (male) Elana (Female) Akane (Male) Turrikon (Male)
If you asked my friends about my personality they would tell you that I'm an unusually happy lioness, with an inclination for privacy and patience. I teach the young and bother the old, unable to resist the urge to guide. From my cubhood long into my youth I had developed a rich well of knowledge, which I know use now to my advantage in old age. I have shown a fondness for cubs and have a knack for diffusing arguments and tense situations. In most situations I am calm and collected outwardly, even if panicing on the inside. Most agree that I am a humorous, sarcastic, and funny old crone, with little bitterness in my heart, despite all I've been through. While on most occassions, I can seem younger than I am, I do tend to show my age on hunts and in dire events that call for an elders touch. I'm not much for sharing my history with others, but will do-so if I think it may help them somehow. Overall I only wish to be useful and it bothers me endlessly on days when my body forbids me-- I am old. I am beginning to show the signs. I am a stubborn old bat though, and will run myself into the ground unless my king tells me otherwise.

If you asked about my life story I would tell you this As a cub I show a curiousity that was dangerous for one my age. From the moment I could speak it was always 'why this' or 'why that' and so, because of this nature, I often got myself into more trouble than I could get out of. Thankfully I was born with an ally watching over me; Dumb luck! I was nuisance though, so Mother paid more attention to my sister and brothers. I didn't mind so much, at least when there were other things to keep me busy. When I wanted to know something, I could be endlessly in her face. It was during our time in the thickets that boredom beset me like vultures to the kill and I wandered off. I can't recall every detail-- I was not close with my sister, so she had little incentive to call me back or stop me. I found myself lost and disoriented by the tall brush around me. To distracted, I continued to topple paw over paw. The only thing that saved my life may have been my lack of noise. Mother always commented on my quietness when I Was not pestering her with questions or interested in something else. I simply sat and thought. And so I did not draw attention to myself. I also did not hear my mother calling me back, who may have been thankful for my disappearance, knowing I'd have hundreds of questions on my return and no such punishment would do to qwell them. By the time I Found my way home, the spot where she had left us was cold. I remember trying to follow the tracks, but I lost them and ended up going in the wrong direction many times.

As it is, dumbluck was there to save me. I was found my another nursing female who claimed me as her own. I was not treated above her own sons and daughters, but I was not neglected either. She recognized my scent as belonging to my mothers-- a close friend of hers. So there I was raised, forced to figure things out on my own. I eventually found a mate within my home clan and had a litter of my own, one female and three males. They all survived, though I paid close attention to Saeed. He was my favorite, though I could never admit it. When he went off on his own, forced out of the pride, I left myself. I could remember the direction my mother took off in and so began my endless journey. I picked up the Beja pride members scents perhaps a year after I had left. It took my awhile to build up courage, but as my luck would have it, I found my long lost sister, Subari, there. It took awhile for me to recognize her as such, but her tone, her mannerisms, the underlining smell-- I Knew it was her. We have kindled something of a relationship, though I am a naughty aunt and will often spoil Shani in any way I can. I love this small family I Have found more than anything.

I forgot to mention Subira is my sister
