Zane listened to Renton's report, processing the information he had just given. 32 reports was a lot in the short amount time that had been given. It was amazing that no one had been mauled yet, and hopefully it would remain that way. Zane sighed as he took the manila envelope Renton had just set down.
"We can't let that happen," Zane replied, referring to the mauling Renton mentioned.

"No definatly not. So do you want to lead the investigation group?" Renton asked as the cieling fan in the sqeuaked as it went around

Nicole Dupree ran into the station being two hours late for work. "Sorry I'm late. Oh Renton is going to be pissed at the fact I am late to work again." She was up most of the night taking care of her younger brother. Her parents were mauled to death a year ago by wolves outside of Surprise's estate. She didn't believe wolves killed her parents. That was why she became a cop. She looked at Zane how was giving her the look. She looked down. Noone seemed to take her seriously since she was the rookie in the department. Also she was known as the troublesome cop and the big chested hottie cop. She had a temper and well hated playing by the cop code.

"Late again I see. How is your younger brother?" Renton asked with a smile onhis face. He did like Nicole. Though she was sometimes the bad cop and was late very often she did her job well. He saw talent and that is why he took her onto the force. After her parents were mauled Renton moved more into their lives. Acting as sort of a parent figure but not really.

"You'll have to make up these two hours though." Renton added in with a laugh as he handed her a folder "More reports of wolf sightings. some by your home aswell. Any ideas on why they are so close to town?" He asked her with a more serious face at this moment. He still howver had a happy aura around him like he usually did.

"Oh and you'll be on cruiser 2. If you want to go patrol I've got Burton already out there. Your choice" He added in walking over to his office

Nicole Dupree gave Renton a look. "Um I am suspended from patrolling remember since I had that guy walk because I didn't give him his Miranda Rights?" That was the one day she would have loved to have forgotten. That guy seriously pissed her off so she slammed him to the cement and cuffed him. Well she also slammed his head against the cruiser before putting him in the car. She started to read the report and noticed most were by Surprise's estate. Her brother tended to visit the woman that lived there against Nicole's wishes.

"Yes well I need some back up out there. Lou is out due to his "abit" again so I need to give Burton some back - up. I've got these wolf reports I've got to file." Renton added in giving her the choice or patrol. He walked over and sat in his office "So do you think you've found anything of interest in those reports? I noticed they were by the Estate out there. I may have to speake with Surprise" He said sighing as he looked at the ceiling

Zane had been zoning out, practically falling asleep when Renton addressed him. He shook his head to wake himself up then brought his attention to the woman who had waltzed into the room. It was one of the rookie's who didn't really take their job seriously. This bothered Zane, but he didn't really care about it at the moment.
"Yes, I can lead the investigation," Zane stated standing up.

"Excellent. You can chose the deputies you want. We just need to at least let the town know were here to keep them safe" Renton said resting back in his chair.

Zane nodded in reply then tiredly began to gather the information he needed. He walked around the office to accomplish this before sitting back down at his desk. As he worked, Zane let out a wide yawn. Zane shook his head and tried to continue his investigation but his eyes were beginning to play tricks on him; the words on the paper were becoming a jumple. Zane frowned as he tried to focus by squinting but that didn't help. Zane suddenly stood up, which was a bad idea because he suddenly got lightheaded, causing him to lose his vision momentarily. The young officer stumbled a few feet before regaining his composure.
"Sorry, but I cannot work like this. I'll only be a hindrance so I'm going home to rest," Zane said tiredly then walked to the door.

"Well take it easy. Hope you feel better tomorrow. Just worry about some rest for today though" Renton said with a smile before he walked towards the door. He grabbed his keys and climbed into his truck sitting in his parking spot.
