I'm so proud of myself! Sephora foundation really helped with this. It actually matched my tone and didn't make me break out. I need to look into what to get next through Sephora. ALSO NAILS.

If my skin wasn't so blotchy, I'd give up make up too. But alas. I have my mother's skin.

paper giraffes noramine I recently quit wearing makeup! Just wondering, but why? Because it's really freeing to be able to walk outside looking like me, instead of wondering if my makeup is staying on, or if it's smudgy, or oh god it's raining it's all going to melt off, or I didn't cover this zit well.. it becomes an obsession. Also the time I save just washing my face and throwing on some moisturizer is great. And people who compliment me are actually complimenting ME now, and people see me for who I am and if they still want to talk to me I know it's not the mask they're interested in. Granted I have blotchy skin that I've been trying to tone down for years, but it's in a good place right now, and though I have blackheads and s**t I don't have any big zits (I think the amount of water I'm drinking is really helping there). If I started to break out a lot again I think I'd go back to makeup out of embarrassment. But I've always been really envious of girls who could just go without makeup without being overly self conscious about it. It's just so free, man.

I don't know if wearing make-up for a whole week is something to congratulate yourself on. But, eh, to each their own. We all know I don't wear make-up, so I'm a bit biased.

I'd be proud/surprised of myself too if I wore makeup for a whole week! Granted, I wear liquid eyeliner almost every day, but I assume we're talking about full face makeup. That's just tedious and something I'd have a hard time getting used to.

That's just tedious and something I'd have a hard time getting used to. Just eyeliner and foundation. The only day I wore a bit more was when I did those photos, I wore some light tan eyeshadow and mascara. This is a big step for me! surprised

If my skin is particularly bad one day I'll wear foundation, bronzer, and blush, but usually it's just eyeliner. I used to do eyeliner + curl lashes + mascara every day but I stopped doing that because I never found a great way to curl my lashes. :c I don't have a hair dryer so I couldn't blow heat onto the curler. I wonder if clamping it with a curling iron would work....

Keito-san I don't know if wearing make-up for a whole week is something to congratulate yourself on. But, eh, to each their own. We all know I don't wear make-up, so I'm a bit biased. My goal is to treat myself better and hold a higher standard on myself. Just the fact that I'm keeping on something I said I would do is worth congratulating myself on.

I wear foundation, eyeliner and lip gloss at bare minimum. Normally I do eyeshaddow and mascara as well.
