Basic Rules

  • From time to time, staff will open breeding slots. Please follow the rules in their breeding threads, as well as the rules posted here.
  • Breedings cost 20k, 10k from each owner. If only one egg is rolled (in a non-RP breeding), it will only cost 10k.
  • You can enter for RP or non-RP slots. Non-RP slots require no RPs, while RP slots require 3 RPs involving the firelizards/whers. They do not have to be done together. A completed RP is at least 1000 words for a solo, or five posts done by you.
  • You can only keep 1 egg from each clutch for yourself, up to a grand total of 3 eggs over the lifetime of the pet. If you want to keep more eggs from future clutches, there will be a fee on top of the breeding cost to keep an egg already in the clutch (20k for flits, 50k for whers).
  • Males can breed at any time, but females have a cool-down period between matings. Laying eggs is tough!

Firelizard Specifics

  • Both green and gold firelizards can breed, though greens will have smaller clutches.
  • Firelizard females must wait 3 months between clutches (that is, they can breed again on the third month after their last clutch, so if they breed in January, they can go again in April).
  • Green firelizards will have 1-4 eggs, golds will have 1-6.
  • Green clutches will have mostly green, blue and brown hatchlings. Bronzes will be very rare, and there will be no golds.
  • Dice will be rolled to determine whether a gold clutch produces another gold, or whether a green clutch produces a bronze.
  • Firelizards do not need to be bonded to a human, but if they are bonded to a human, the human character must be approved by staff before they can be RPed.

Wher Specifics

  • Both green and gold whers can breed, though greens will have smaller clutches.
  • Wher females must wait 4 months between clutches (that is, they can breed again on the fourth month after their last clutch, so if they breed in January, they can go again in May).
  • Green whers will have 1-3 eggs, golds will have 1-5.
  • Green clutches will have mostly green, blue and brown hatchlings. Bronzes will be very rare, and there will be no golds.
  • Dice will be rolled to determine whether a gold clutch produces another gold, or whether a green clutch produces a bronze.
  • Whers can be feral, but if a wher hatchling is going to be bonded by a handler, the handler's profile must be approved by staff before they can start RPing.
