Kaiko rested her head on the table of the library. It was a quiet place. She was given time to think about all that had happened lately. No one would be shouting in the library, or annoying her deep inside. She loved meeting everyone, but silently, they were destroying her from inside out. She just needed a few to clear her mind. Of course, if she ran into someone here, she wouldn't mind talking to them. After all, when one decides to be alone, they can also end up lonelier longer.

She glanced down at the wooden table. No smile on her face, but no frown. She had a thin line, not indicating her mood at all. Her hair was a bit out of order, but relatively still neat. She had a hard few months already into the academy. She's been busy working, going to class, homework she does at the last minute, and being social. If anything, she would not compare to the other girls. She was simply just a kid who got too occupied with things.

She cursed her outgoing nature. It was unfair that she felt compelled to do so much more than most of her friends. They themselves had easier managements. She gave a soft sigh, trying to clear her mind of all the negative things she was thinking.

She just needed the serenity of the library. The sanctuary of the entire school, for all and for one.

Ted entered the library in a slow pace. He was planning on reading something, for he wanted some time to relax without other people bothering him during his reading sessions, like Meito trying to snatch his books away. No, while reading he preferred a silent and peaceful place by far, and the library seemed to be just the perfect place for that.

Walking towards the bookshelves, Ted wondered if there was any interesting book around. He'd most probably find one because he actually found a lot of books interesting. He pushed up his glasses as he reached out for an interesting book in the bookshelf called 'Hope and silence' with his free hand. Reading the back cover, he decided this could be an interesting book. He liked life strories, a bit dramatic and filled with dilemmas. Somehow it expanded his view of life.

Walking towards a random table, he noticed a familiar looking girl sitting there. Raising his eyebrow, he walked a bit closer to her. She seemed to be thinking about something. Something bad probably because she didn't seem to be in such a good mood. He could tell she wasn't, how, he didn't know, but he had this feeling. Sitting down at the same table as Kaiko, he opened his book on the first page and glanced at the blue haired girl. "Hello there." He said gently. He wasn't one for starting a conversation, but he met this girl and she didn't look too well. "Is something the matter, Kaiko?" He asked politely. He hoped he could somehow comfort her, because she seemed like a nice girl. Then it was really too bad to be down. Ted himself was down at times too of course, but he knew that then he would like to have some company. Most preferable her sister. He bet Kaiko preferred her brother eing here but he actually couldn't help her with that. He just hoped she didn't mind him talking to her.

Kaiko looked over to see Ted Kasane sit next to her. Of course, she would welcome anyone, even in the quiet section of the library. He had said hello and she gave a soft, tender smile to him.

"Hello," She whispered, noticing the "KEEP QUIET" sign in bold and capital letters. She then figetted with her satin blue scarf. She was a bit hesitant to be around with such people, even if this was her best friend's brother.

As he asked her what was wrong, she sighed quetly.

"Nothing is really wrong, I've just been over worked lately," She said, gazing at the colorful pattern the books were somehow organized into.

Ted tilted his head slightly. Was she uncomfortable? He couldn't really tell that well. He gave her a concerned look followed by a small smile. "You should take it easy, Kaiko. take some time off, don't stress about school too much, I'm sure you'll be fine." He said, looking up at the ceiling. He wasn't sure what to tell this girl to make her feel a bit better.

"Look, Kaiko." He said, looking back at her and pushing up his glasses slightly. "I bet you came to the library to clear your mind. If you don't want me to be here, I'll leave you alone. I know it's nice to have some time alone. Just take your time to calm down. There's no need to always be doing everything, at the same time even. Take it easy." He said with a polite smile.

Ted then looked down at his book and looked for the first page. He skipped the first page silently, not wanting to bother Kaiko. He didn't matter if he had to keep quiet. If that meant helping her, it was good. And he got to do that what he came here for in the beginning. But, if she needed to talk to someone, he'd be happy to hear her out.
