α lot of people say I'm. . .
Generally kind and caring. I'm very calm and collected but speak my mind if I feel strongly about something. I'm also a nature lover and I love the outdoors. I am very religious and spiritual, my aunt used to say I am very "close" to the Lord despite my love for nature here on Earth. I don't open up very easily so some say I'm a bit of a loner and a little strange and awkward.
care to hear my story?
I was born Alina Anne Elsie Izabell Serephine Roark, daughter of Josephine Elizabeth Roark and John Adam Roark. I grew up on the outskirts of a small town called Reykholt in Iceland. My home town in Iceland has a current population of 205 and consists of two small villages. The cottage that we lived in was built into a hill and had a small pond out front. It had no electricity, cable, or running water and we were fairly cut off from the rest of the world. Since I didn't go to school or go into town much I didn't have any friends except for the trees and God.
When I was four years old, my parents died while they were hiking in the mountains near our cottage and I inherited my mother's silver cross necklace and it's the only thing I have left of them so I wear it at all times, it's sort of my most valuable possession. My Aunt Deveraux moved in and took over the role of raising me as soon as she heard the horrible news. She was a kind woman who home schooled me and even taught me how to make medicine with the plants and herbs around our cottage. She also taught me to embrace nature and I developed a special "way" with the earth. She was a very spiritual woman as well and it's kind of rubbed off on me.
Ever since I was five I spent most of my time outdoors and often in the woods looking for herbs and flowers that could be used for medicine, taking them back to my aunt. We soon made a living out of selling the homemade medicines and we began to heal the sick at our cottage. Things were finally looking up for me and for my aunt until she passed away. At the time I was fifteen and devastated. Now I had lost three loved ones and the cottage seemed lonely.
I looked elsewhere for a place to continue my education until there was only one place left, Fuyu Academy in America. I decided to apply there and I was accepted despite my social status. Once I heard the good news, I gathered my belongings and hopped on the first plane to America. Here at Fuyu I'm hoping to make friends and continue my education in a more suitable place than my home country of Iceland.
αbilities? Yeah, I can . . .
Make plants grow at an unusually fast rate, heal others, and revive dead plants back to health.
