Near the south end of the Dragonspine Mountain range sits the tallest of the spires, Stormsteel Mountain. The top half of this mountain is under constant cover of black storm clouds and thunder. These conditions however have given birth to a rare and powerful metal that has been named Stormsteel. The metal has a strange quality to be conducive to magic. Many of tried ascending the mountain to acquire it and most have died.
