Ai's Fighting Stats
Attack: 13x8 =104%
Defense: 16%
Speed: 14%
Agility: 16%
Intelligence: 14% Ai was being led quickly to the compound. JB seemed rather eager today. Perhaps Inali had won his fight? Or maybe he had started training Kita and was pretty happy with how she did. Either way, Ai was happy that JB was happy. It led things to be more interesting in the pit, and in the event of her losing, he wouldn’t be as hard on her. Ai would have to ask Inali if that was the reason, whenever she saw him again.
The normal routine never changed, even though Ai hadn’t been in the pit for about a week. She was handed off to the attendant, shoved through the metal chute and into the ground floor where she would meet her opponent face one. When she spotted the male she had yet to fight before, she charged right for him, immediately heading in for an attack. Time for battle, and time to win!

Intelligence: 1% Link wasn’t too game about fighting today. Lila had to literally drag him from the stalls to the compounds. Instead, the slate colored male would rather be playing with his new friend, the girl that Lila had gotten not too long ago. He had met her a few times, and she was really nice in Link’s opinion. He could see them becoming best friends, if they weren’t considered this already.
“Come on boy, just one more fight. We really need the money this week,” the human urged once inside the pit, hearing the laughter from the crowd. That was fairly unsettling.
“I know we just do this for fun…but today, we need to buckle down. Just this once? Okay?” She asked her mokai, before clinking him in the chute. When it opened on the other side, the bluish male had no time to think as he spotted the striped female with the horn heading right for him. Now would be a great time to run.
Instead of defending himself for the attack, Link kicked up shop, and scampered away from Ai, trying to avoid the likely inevitable collision.

Intelligence: 14% Ai was surprised to see her component running away from her, rather than sticking up and fighting for himself. If he wanted to prove who he was, he needed to turn around and face her! Ai growled, continuing to chase the male. She pivoted on her feet, making a quick turn to cut off the male. She succeeded, slamming into the startled male. She could hear cracks, and only hoped that was the opponents bones stressing from the pressure, rather than hers.
“You have to do better than that, if you want to beat me.” Ai announced, golden eyes gleaming into bright orange ones. There was something different about this mokai. Usually eyes held determination, but his did not. There was something else there that Ai had yet to figure out.

Intelligence: 1% Link yelped when he felt himself tackled to the ground. This female was fast, and smart, and determined, and a whole lot of other things that Link could ramble off. He wanted to inch away from the female, but found that doing so would likely result in pain. He could see that she was in it to win it, and Link likely didn’t want to stand in her way. Though, when he peered over to the side, noticing what appeared to be a shady man chatting with an equally ashamed Lila, his thoughts changed.
“I don’t have to do better than anything.” Link said, in his not-so-usual tone. “Did it occur to you that maybe I don’t want to fight? Looks like I need to though,” he huffed. The male really wasn’t up for the battle today, but if there something he was never up to was letting his owner down. The look on her face broke his heart. He wouldn’t let her down, not today, not any other day!

Intelligence: 14% Ai was shocked, a fighter mokai that didn’t want to fight? The idea was revolting.
“You’re in the pit, you have to fight!” She stated, lunging for the little male again. This time, her teeth bared and small stubby claws out. She aimed for the male’s neck, but found herself once more down a predictable alley. She hadn’t met this one before in the pits, nor outside for that matter, but that didn’t mean he didn’t know any of her past opponents that could have told him all her secrets. It was one thing Ai vowed never to let happen again. She just wanted to prove herself that her loss was a fluke, and something like that would not happen again.
When she felt teeth connect to something soft, she gripped down hard. She found that her target had moved, but she had his tail within her grasp. Any movements from it could cause some nice pain to jolt through his system.

Intelligence: 1% Another attack in less than a few seconds, the normally happy-go-lucky Link wasn’t so happy. This female had some powerful jaws, he wouldn’t be surprised if there was something broken in the tail area. He needed to get on his game and do something, or else blood would be spilt in the arena tonight. His blood.
“Look, I’m having an off day, can’t you just go…a little easier on me?” His words seemed unheard as he watched the striped girl make another move. He’d better do something, and fast. Thinking as quickly as he could, Link managed (somehow) to dodge the bullet, careening out of Ai’s was just as she lunged for him again. He took not but a second to compose himself, before slamming his body at the mokai. He wasn’t a dirty fighter, but it seemed that this female was. Never before had he been pitted against some tough competition. He would consider J-Dub a good battler, but this girl seemed out for blood. There was no talking to her in battles, no reasoning with her whatsoever.
All he had to do, was stay on his feet long enough for the bell to ring, and signal the fight to be over. However, that was proving to be the challenge upon itself.

Intelligence: 14% Look, I’m having an off day, can’t you just go…a little easier on me? Now he was begging? This mokai wasn’t like anyone else, was he?
Shaking her head was the only thing she gave him. Though, it seemed to go unnoticed. She needed to prove to everyone that she was the best, and that meant going all out on every single one of her opponents. As she aimed to attack once again, she found that her target had once again had moved. He was a fast little bugger, wasn’t he? She turned around to aim for him once more, only to find herself crashing to the ground, a much lighter body atop of her.
Touche, young mokai. She thought to herself, rising to her feet with the slate male still on her. He had a lot more to show if that was how he was going to fight her. Ai had a few more tricks up her sleeves, and this one seemed to be waning fast.

Intelligence: 1% Link almost yipped in delight, almost. His thoughts soon stopped when he felt the female rise from the ground after he had just tackled her, seeming as her weight was nothing. Well, his ‘normal’ opponents would be laughing, or smiling at the attack, for it wasn’t something that was the hardest to do, especially with Link’s quirkiness.
Gripping onto the sides of the female, Link wanted to stay on her back for as long as he could. However, he found himself being flung the moment Ai made a bucking movement. Landing on the ground with a big oomph, Link looked around in the crowds. He knew he had lost, so he figured he should stop now to not face any more ridicule. But how could he inform this to his opponent? Talking to her wasn’t helpful.
His eyes landed on Lila, who appeared quite sad. He had failed her. Well, no more! Getting up on shaky paws, Link made one more attempt at the offensive, hoping to once and for all put this female in her place.
He’d fail trying.

Intelligence: 14x6 = 84% Ai was glad when her opponent got back to his feet. At least this match wasn’t all to wasted. She had put on a good show for the human watchers, all while making money for JB. She knew she had won this fight. There was no doubt about it. The male had taken too many blows, while she managed to dodge more than he could toss at her. Golden eyes watched as he made one more move before the loud sounding of the compound bell. So, he wanted to prove he was good too. Boy was he wrong to do so against the striped female. She watched his paws hit the earth, digging in, kicking up as much dust as he could as he sped towards her. Lucky for Ai, there was one thing should could always count on to get the job done. Her horn glinted in the artificial lighting of the compound above, waiting to dig itself into flesh, a place it rather be.
When the male got ever so close, she waited until the opportune moment, before swinging her head at his charge, impaling his shoulder. Only the male would do more damage, for the more he continued to charge at her in fury, the more likely the horn would dig itself into the shoulder. The deeper the wound, the longer the healing time. Ai knew this, and tried to avoid it. Though, would Link know?

Intelligence: 1x10 = 10% Running pretty much blindly at Ai, Link intended to give it his all at the last moment. He didn’t account for the black horn of hers, swinging out of the blue, impaling him on the shoulder though. Stopping quickly, as though stuck in a daze, the male mokai shifted his eyes where her head was in his shoulder. He couldn’t move, frozen in fear, and in shock. When the female below him shifted he let out an inhumane sound, backing away from the female with such quickness you would have thought he was a speeding bullet.
He ran right towards Lila, not caring if the sound of the bell had rung or not. He wanted out of here, now!
But instead of meeting Lila, she no longer was in view of the pit, he came face to face with another man. This one was more gruffy looking, slimy, a slumball if you’d ask Link. Maybe Lila just went to the restroom, and he’d meet up with her later? He…he could cope with that.
His ears perked up at the sound of the bell. Gazing over to the female mokai in the pit, he watched as she was led out of the compound pit. He needed to find out just how she did it, so he too could be the best there was. He’d have to find her outside the arena some day and ask her. Hopefully she was nicer on the outside then she was in the compound.
