I'm not sure if this thread is allowed in the guild. I figured I'd try the Random Threads forum. >.>
Anyway. I have very thin hair. One might describe it as hair's equivalent of anorexia. The good news: run a brush through it once and it slips through your fingers like silk. The bad news: even though it's medium length (a couple inches below my shoulder), I can hardly do anything with it. There just isn't enough there to look good. Also, curls only hold for about five minutes before they start to undo.
I was wondering if anyone has reccomendations, as far as hair care products go. Any thickening solutions/shapoos/etc., and/or really good hair spray?
Any other advice on the subject would be wonderful, as well.
Thanks. xD;

Hmmm... could you try a special "volumizing" shampoo and conditioner? I think Pantene Pro-V has such a line of hair care.

Hmmm... I have pretty thin hair, but your sounds thinner than mine.
The volumizing shampoos can sometimes help, but I've mostly just stuck with using the regular stuff. (You can also try those for "fine" hair) I found blow-drying my hair makes it look thicker, but it also fries my hair so I don't do it often.
Try looking for barrets and stuff for thin hair, they'll actually stay in. My advice is to ask your hairdresser next time you get a trim to see if they have any advice for you.
Another note, I don't know how old you are, but if you are younger your hair may still thicken up as you get older. My hair used to be impossible to do anything with, but as I've gotten older it's thickened, not a lot, but enough that it no longer looks abnormally thin.
Also, you can try google (or search engine of you choice) to see if there is any thing else you can look up in the mean time.

hair = genes ;D
It's all about genetic lot .. so you may take vitamin E, but be carefull this is a very dangerous one.

Genetics play a MAJOR factor. Also, maybe you brush your hair too much. My hair stylist told me that I brush my hair way too much, and if I continued, I'd have extremely thin hair.

My hair is pretty thick, but not insanely so. I do have loads. ^ ^; Anywho, try brushing it less, don't dye it or blow-dry it, and try taking MSM. MSM can be found as a dietary supplement;it can be found as a powder (to be taken orally) or as a cream (for external stuff). I know that MSM can help make your hair healthier. I use MSM cream on my face when I break out. (Usually, approx. 50% of my zits are gone overnight if I put on the MSM before I go to bed.) I also used MSM to help heal the cartilage in my knee. I had something called chondromalacia, meaning that my cartilage was weak. The MSM helped my cartilage toughen up.
