I woke up from a dream that you were alive,
I couldn’t take it I just had to die.
I wanted to join you and if death is what I need,
Then damn it death it would be!
I impaled myself in the gut with my knife,
Putting an end to my feelings of strife.
I saw blood begin to slowly pouring out,
This was the end without a doubt.
Suicide was oddly sweet,
My lone heart had had a slower beat.
My breathing slowed to an unsteady pace.
As I lied there waiting for death’s cold embrace,
I thought about my sweet goddess’ face;
Pale white and cold as ice,
No beauty compared to her jade-coloured eyes.
A smile as bright as the sun,
It was such a shame that the reaper took her so young.
I let out a long sigh,
Knowing that we’re all destined to die.
When it had begun to rain,
More and more I could feel the pain.
I swear I could hear her cry,
It was her tears crashing from the sky.
I sat there frozen and covered in blood,
I knew that it was quite possible she’s already won.
I gave in and looked into her watering eyes,
I was shocked it was an angel’s disguise.
It can’t be true;
To forgive and forget,
To live and let die.
Love I would die for you at anytime.
But no it just doesn’t seem right.
You just won’t let me can’t you see,
You’re the one angel that I thought understood me!
You’re where I want to be,
The afterlife by your side,
Together forever in eternity!
