Setting:
The library can be entered through one of two entrances - both spaced out rather nicely in the Main Hall. Immediately met are three rows of book shelves spreading out in the bulk of what would be open area. There are twenty one book shelves in the center of the room - each ranging subjects from art and philosophy to science and evolution. These are the "Human" subjects.
Behind the book shelves rest two large tables made of a solid oak - stained a dark brown and glazed. Each table has four chairs, two on either side.
In each back corner is a stairway leading up to the second story of the library - which is really a platform walkway with more book shelves. These shelves reach up to touch the ceiling and contain books ranging from magical theory to spells and magical history. Scattered about the walkway platforms are ladders and stools to stand on and reach the higher up books.
The stairs themselves are beautifully polished wood that matches the walls, tables, bookshelves and chairs in the room.
The light in the room is given off by two large crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling over the "Open Space" below.
The floor is velvet carpet - perfect incase a valuble book is dropped - and even better for bare feet.
All in all the library has a very old fashioned and quaint look to it despite it's vastness.
