Time do passed by quickly when one is having fun, and before he knew it, it was getting late, and the crowd seems to be slowly dispersing. For one, he don't see Isi and Eiry anymore, probably went home early due to the commotion Eiry created earlier.
Feeling tired himself too, Kyou decided that he should leave soon as well. But as the host of the event, perhaps he should say goodbye to everyone before he leaves, it is only polite that way. Greetings were exchanged for friends that he did not have a chance to talk to that evening, promises of coffee and cake were made for future meetings to catch up. A final 'goodbye' and 'take care' for those that he did meet that evening. He knew, or almost knew, most of the people at the party. Some of them good friends he had known for a while, and some he had only seen their faces on applications filed back in the Lab.
However, as he was going round saying his good nights, he chanced upon an unfamiliar lady in a feathered mask. Pausing for a moment in front of her, he racked his brain to try and connect a name to her face. Maybe she is one of the new owners that he haven't got familiar with yet? But unfortunately after a few moments of memory searching, he is coming up with none.
"I'm sorry." Kyou chuckled embarrassingly. "You are...?" Gently he lifted one gloved hand, offering it to the lady. Perhaps it could be the mask? He wondered. It is always that bit more difficult to recognize someone when they are wearing a mask.
