So, what's your verdict on the Libra ad?
  Transphobic and/or hurtful.
In poor taste, but not a big deal.
  Amusing, but still ignorant.
  Amusing!
  I'm neutral.
  I'm not sure.
  Other.

Runkle
What confuses me is why the transvestite was all in a huff about the other chick whipping out a tampon. I feel like that's nothing to brag about: "Hey, I bleed from my genitals, therefore I win this battle."

What?

Look, having had a period? It's not exactly an advantage... I don't even see how the ad makes sense. How do they think this helps them sell?

My thoughts exactly. If anything, the woman should be jealous of the drag queen; having your period is awful, painful, and messy. The drag queen can have all the fun of being a woman without menstruation.
I didn't think the commercial was too offensive, but the thing that pissed me off was the text at the end that said something like "for real women." Okay, so according to that commercial, post-menopausal women and women with hormonal imbalances aren't real women either since they don't menstruate.

See, the issue is that the people who'd get insulted- directly- mostly don't wear tampons...

Here's another question:

For those of you who menstruate, would you consider this advertisement effective? Why or why not?

The message is clear. I'm not trans and I find it offensive.

But it's also quite stupid, nobody likes bleeding from their v****a, nor the pain that comes with it, not even women that are born with vaginas.
