The arena was being set. To accommodate the humans, the area had to be more level than I liked, and far colder. She stretched and twisted her back and cracked all the kinks out of her spine. "Ah, that feels better."
As she cleared the surrounding area of large boulders and fallen trees, the demonic female thought to herself:
'Damn! Why can't we fight on my terms? Why does it always have to accommodate the humans? I much prefer the heat of the lava caves to the outside cold of the Japanese winters. At least in there, I wouldn't have to clear anything away. But then again, the clumsy humans would probably fall into the lava before I could even land a single blow. Oh well, it's better this way. Besides, I need to wake up and clearing away all this snow and nature will certainly do that.'
The Demon Lady took little effort removing the natural wonder of the Japanese countryside to prepare it for the upcoming skirmish with the humans. After a square mile of territory was more or less cleared of the debris that the humans could possibly fall over or get terribly hurt by due to their own ineptitude, she stopped.
The only thing left to do would be to rope off the area that would be considered the arena, the area that they had to stay within for the match. One square mile was not much room for a demon to maneuver in, but more than enough for a human. Then again, it was just enough room for her to finish them off. And she didn't have to stay on the ground, and she had no intention of doing so, either. Ah, the advantages of being a demon!
"Okay humans, where are you? I am waiting!"
AND SO IT BEGINS
