While some may consider this offensive, she doesn't do it in a rude way and most find it quite cute.

Penelope Ginevera Khor - Ariel's mother. Ariel hates her with a passion. Not because of the things she has done to Ariel, but because of the mask she wears. Always the perfect socialite, the perfect woman, the perfect wife. Never showing a single flaw or problem even in front of her husband or child. Ariel despises her "lady" mask, because she know that beneath it lies a vile, vain woman.
Cerro Jonathan Khor - Ariel's father. She dislikes him as well, although not as much as her mother, because unlike her, he shows his faults and she knows them well. He is short tempered, quiet, and cold, even to his daughter. He is hopelessly in love with Ariel's mother and does everything she says, even though she only married him for his title and wealth.

History|| Ariel was born to the illustrious Khor family, a long line of kings, queens, and other such noble professions, all of them Telepaths. She was trained strictly to always appear like this, always stand like that, do this, do that, and so on. She hated it. So she tried rebelling. But when your family is full of constables, judges, and noble folk, how do you rebel in the slightest without the whole country hearing of it? So Ariel thought to run. But how do you run when your family's influence runs across the world? She tried in every way possible to break out of the chains of her family, but just couldn't do it out of fear of the punishment. So finally, she confronted her mother and begged her for some freedom. Her mother was (although she didn't show it), outraged, and commanded her father to take care of the problem that was their daughter posthaste. Not knowing what to do to please his wife, he sent the girl to this school far away from where she could annoy her, not knowing that it was this freedom she had wanted all along. Although she still does not possess the complete control over her life she craves, what with bodyguards and agents around every corner, not to mention the ridiculous classes she is being forced to take, she is one step closer to holding her future in her hands.
